What are Teacats?

Teacats were made by accident. A young woman was fiddling around with different tea flavors to try and create a better tea that would draw in more customers to her shop. Thinking her newest formula was going to fail, the woman decided to mess around and stick the tea in a new type of casing- a casing in the shape of a cat. She dropped the tea in the water and sat back to wait for the water to soak up the flavors. However, when she checked the tea, tiny little eyes were staring back up at her. For reasons still unknown, the new casing came to life once it touches water.

Teacat Adopts

TeaCat customs will be made here. At this point in time, only staff members are allowed to make customs and myos are currently not enabled. We ask that you be patient with the artist that has claimed to do your custom. If you have any issues, please contact either myself or Katrione via PM. Artists will make it known on this thread if they have slots available to take your custom, so keep a look out for that c:

For those who want a TeaCat, here's your opportunity! Everyone is allowed to have one free common (two traits) custom made. We don't yet have an MYO system set up or plans to implement one soon. As such, we ask that you be patient and do not badger the artists to hurry up. If there are signs of you being rude and harmful to any of the artists or other users, you will be removed from taking advantage of this opportunity.

Artists
After you have completed at least four adopts, you are allowed to create one free rare (two traits) and unlimited below custom. You do not have to include rare traits if you do not want to, but the opportunity is there just in case. You do not have to make your own custom if you do not want to. Make sure that the artist you are interested in has open slots, though.

Guest Artists
After you have completed at least four adopts, you are allowed to create one free rare (two traits) custom. If you would like to exchange this for another rarity, please contact either myself or Katrione. At this point in time, you are not allowed to create your own custom and will need to find a permanent artist to do it for you. Please be patient with them as you can and will lose this opportunity if there is proof of you being rude and badgering the artist to hurry up.

I'd like to order a custom! I really love the art styles of the other artists so I'm taking a break from Oekaki for my first custom and leaving it all to these wonderful artists c:

I'd really love a lunar new year themed teacat!
the teacat would have colors and a design based off of this palette
could I have chamomile tea with goji and honey?
if you have any more questions, feel free to ask! for the cup, teapot, or whatever you decide to put the teacat in, you could do some Chinese / lunar new year design, pattern, and/ or colors. go wild!
