Jacksonville, FL
Karro never quite enjoyed the town he grew up in. Well, he did, but he didn’t. The scenery was wonderful- the beach was available every day for him to run around on. The summer storms were so severe the damage was unbelievable- but it was always so fun to watch. That was, until a hurricane destroyed his family’s den.
Ever since Irma came through, the flooding was too much to control. Karro loves where he grew up. There was so much to explore both night and day, and the full moon rises on the beach are still the most beautiful things he had ever witnessed.
The memories still haunt him, and while he yearns to go home he knows he couldn’t stand to see the situation businesses and families are still in.
Instead he retreats to the woods where he is safe from most storms and can sing by the kampfire with those he barely knows.

"The town is nice, yeah. It's a metropolis with some gang activity, but not enough so that I feel unsafe walking around- that's not the part of the town that scares me.

If someone who was supposed to protect you said that they hated you, and tried to kill you, you'd be scared. If you knew where they were, you'd avoid that place like the plague. So, I do. I'll never go back to that place. If they won't leave my hometown, I'll never go back there.

Funny, most kids leave their hometown to escape their parents- but I doubt that they all had their lives on the line. It isn't all that bad though, I'm happy away from my hometown, it's... easier. So, Yeah. My hometown itself? It's not that bad. I'd never go back, because I feel safe right where I am, but it's not bad."-Said during group talk around fire
