~Writing Extra~The season of joy and wonder was well present around the small town that which Tiber inhabited for such a long time. Christmas was by far his most pleasured season of the year for it brought him friends, presents, food and most of all caroling. The caroling wasn't his favorite for the songs and tunes that played aloud from the muzzles of Christmas cheerers and elf dressed viscets. No it was the one particular singer whom always warmed his heart and brightened his day.
Noel... She was as elegant as a Queen residing on her throne of happiness and holiday cheer. Her eyes blue like the sky and as deep as the ocean which he'd been drawn to ever since the first they met. His strong attachment to her he tried to hide as to not feel embarrassed but he simply couldn't hold it in any longer he wished to tell her how his heart felt and what his eyes see.
At tge local coffe shop is where Tiber would see her most often aswell as his closest friend Kohi whom owned the small shop named 'Locco Latte'. This is where he would say study her and attempt to make his move but fail in that he would become a nervous and blushing mess and return to his seat.
Kohi would comfort and encourage him to try again but to no avail.
Across the chocolate wood floored dining area she sat her mane gleamed brightly in the shifting morning light. Her prestigious antlers shone high almost catching on the light that hung above the well decorated table. And her sweet and cute bunny nose was absolute perfection to Tiber as he continued to gaze and bask in her beauty.
Kohi looked at his friend whom at this point was starring intensly at lady Noel. Kohi spoke to wake Tiber from his daze.
"Yo, Ti you're starring man it looks creapy even to me."
Tiber snpped out of his own thoughts and looked at his friend and with a serious and needy tone said.
"Help me kohi, I love her"
Love... Such a powerful and compelling feeling but how possible can it be described... Perhaps the thumping of your heart and longing need for tge other a affection. Tiber was deeply in love and he didn't know what to do he was absolutely clueless and scared to tell her in fear she would reject him and the pain from that just the thought made him feel sick.
How would such a sweet proper and gorgeous girl ever love or even remotely like him. At this point kohi stepped in well more of out from around the counter and walked over to where noel resided in the cafe.
Tiber almost screamed but instead wispered loud "What are you doing!?"
Kohi looked back and smiled smugly and surely planning something in his head.
Kohi approached the table and took a seat across from her. She jumped a little and looked at him unsure and confused but smiled sweetly as not to seem rude. "Um hello uh... Kohi correct? "
Kohi nodded his head in agreement and bagan his plan
"Miss Noel how are you today?"
She replied friendly and cheerful
"I'm ok I'm getting some coffe and a snack before I go caroling, by the way you have such a lovely restaurant it amazing"
Kohi smiled glad fpr tge appreciation she gave toward his establishment
"Well thank you Noel very much it means a lot."
Tiber sat nervous biting his claws to a nub his teeth chattered and his leg bounced an anxiety raised more and more. He watched as they talked it seemed like hours until he saw botb kohi and noel look at him. His poor face turned red in every hue imaginable. As well as a slight redness present on noels face. It was with that which kohi got up said bye and continued back toward his registered station behind the counter.
Noel continued to look over at tiber whom felt quite sick at this point and looked at kohi very confused and embarrassed. "What did you do kohi what did you say? "
Kohi smirked and blantly stated.
"You'll have to talk to her about that"
Tiber felt a very very uneasy feeling g in his gut and his anxiety reached it peak on the verge of a panick attack he layed his head down on the freshly cleaned bar counter.
"I can't do that kohi I cant all she did was look at me and I almost died of blushing"
Kohi nodded in agreement but also disagreed. "Ti listen... What if she might like you too but she's too scared and she to say it so like she's waiting for you?" This statement peaked his interest and made him have a new incentive to talk to her. "Do you think she likes me? " kohi smiled big and placed his paw on tibers arm reassuringly "yes I do and I think you better go talk to her"
Tiber sat for a minute to think of what he would say... What would he say he had no idea how to talk to her what is her supposed to do does he say hi, hello, g'day or what he began to panick again. "Kohi what am I supposed to say I dont know how to talk to her. she's so perfect and like what if I say something weird like what if I mess up!?"
Kohi thought for a minute and an idea popped into his head
"Ask her on a date, she would probably love that and before you ask where I've got an idea. Ice skating!"
Tibers ears perked up excited and pumped up it was tge greatest idea he'd ever heard! "Kohi you're a genius like you know I love ice skating and I know noel loves it too cuz she's always there!"
Kohi laughed and ushered tiber over to noel "now go and ask tiber I know she'll say yes" tiber was filled with new found confidence and walked eagerly over to Noel who was now getting ip from her seat and getting ready to go Carol. He approached her nervously but smile took a deep breath and asked her "N.. Noel... Um would.. Y. You like.. To go on a date... Uh I mean like ya know um just hang out.. With me.. At the ice skating.. Palace ...if like you want it's ok.. Um if you don't cuz like that's cool and yeah.."
Her face lit up red as she started wagging her tail and smiled brightly she was very excited and happy "YES I'd love to Ti that would be amazing and yes a date!" Tibers heart began to race his face was as red as it's ever been his tail flipped and flopped as he couldn't help but smile from ear to ear. "Thank you! " he said as she left the cafe she looked back and waved sweetly while still blushing bright red.
Tiber stood still in place dumbfounded surprised and the happiest he has ever been in all his life...
"She.. Said yes and called it a date"
Kohi said as he walked up to Tiber to snapp him out of his freeze of disbelief. "Yes... She did I'm so happy like I might cry but I won't maybe. "
Kohi laughed a bit and smiled happy fpr his friend and glad his plan worked.
Kohi's plan was made while he was talking to Noel and asked her if she liked Tiber. Her reply was a shy glance over at Ti and a yes. He then asked her if she'd go out with Tiber to an event in town that's when she suggested ice skating. This was brilliant and perfect an activity both could enjoy and have fun at together.
Tiber again thanked Kohi for everything and ran out of the vafe rushing to get ready and head the the ice palace. Meanwhile noel was finishing up her rounds of caroling and rushed to her house to clean up and refresh her feathers and fur and to grab her ice skates. Tiber combed his dense layers of fluff and put on some cologne and grabed his skates as well. Bothe rushed to the palace as fast as possible.
The ice palace was a large and renowned area that opened near the holidays for much cheaper than the rest of the year admission. In tge middle of the ring was a silhouette carving of Juniper a famous viscet who has won gold at the Olympic and gran prix skating events. The rink was a large oval like structure with poles all around wraped with ribbons. The seating was on the north and south sides of the stadium.
They arrived at the same time stumbbling through the door. Noel tripped over anothers tail and stared heading face first into the floor. Tiber caught her in his arms and brought her up into an unknown embrace. She hugged him tight and nuzzled into his think fur and smiled feeling his warmth against her. He looked down and blushed deep seeing her hold him so lovingly he couldn't help but do the same.
She lifted her head to look at him at which their noses met and a small boop both blushed bright and noel smiled full of love. They parted from their hug and boop and continued to spend the rest of there night on the ice together. With glides and jumps and a few falls and catches they had the most amazing time together the carved the ice with their love for all to see and once it was closing time they left in the best moods and best filling they've ever had.
Tiber walked Noel home down the cold street of Christmas eve night he kept her close so she would stay warm. His fur radiated heat like a fireplace and she absolutely adored it. They reached her door step where she smiled and hugged him tight once more before parting and uttering the most glorious words his ears have ever heard "Tiber I love you" he smiled and pulled her closer to him hugging her again and blushing in shock and in pure joy. "I love you too"...
She offered for him to meet with her again tomorrow at the cafe to tell kohi the good news. Tiber agreed completely and walked home beaming with joy and thinking of noel the whole way. This day was by far the best of his life on from that day on he vowed to make her the happiest viscet in the whole world. And he knew as long as he was with her he would be too.
The next day they both met up again at the cafe nuzzly and affectionate with their new love and waited patiently for Kohi's break to tell him the news. "Tiber we should thank him aswell don't ya think? " tiber looked at noel and smiled nodding in agreement since it was indeed his best friend whom made all this possible. Kohi approached and said "Well I see you two are doing well" Kohi was walking up to the table very excited for both and smiled. Tiber jumped up to hug kohi "thank you so much bro like for real thanks! "
kohi smiled very happy and proud "it's no problem man I'm you're bro-cet til forever"
And with that they all laughed and enjoyed the great of the day hanging out and making jokes. They enjoyed coffee and cookies curtiosy of kohi till dusk fell on that Christmas day.
