Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sapient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

We've made it to yet another great milestone in the Kalon species! I am proud to bring you the next Legendary adopt brought to you by some very incredible artists on our staff. They're based off a Pastel Peacock design chosen by you, the community. Yet with this competition we decided to do things a little differently...

This is a Round Based Competition!

What that means is there will be different prompts for three totals rounds, where after each certain users will be chosen to compete in the next round. By the third, we've reached the finale where only the top will complete their forms to have a chance at taking home this darling! The rounds will be judged based on the prompts responses, creativity, and character development.

This round you will answer a writing prompt and choose between one of three color combinations.
There is a 1000 word limit for the writing and no extras. You are allowed to pretty up your form if desired.

Prompt: "You spot a Kalon walking through the trees, but you swear your eyes are playing tricks on you. What did they look like? Who are they?"

Personality: Serenity is a social butterfly. She loves to socialize with other Kalons and loves to make others laugh. She can be very devious at times when her curiosity is at stake. She would pull some of the meanest pranks on her friends. But she wouldn't take it too far it can affect her too and making her feel very nasty. Serenity loves nice strolls in forest where she lives. In the meadows of the black forest in Germany. One of her favorite hobbies are going to her favorite meadow full of flowers and makes a bunch of flower crowns in many different sizes to share with the other wooden creatures. In the night her lovely luminescent plants from her body glows very brightly and attracts any curious creatures in the forest to having a look at her beauty, especially the beautiful and unique pink fur she has. She'll be a bit of a show off on her beauty towards many who look up to her.

Serenity can be very playful at mostly in the spring time. It's one of her most favorite seasons to come especially when it's winter. She'll enjoy playing in the snow, having snowball fights with her friends, building an igloo and making a snowman. Even when it gets cold outside in her afternoons she loves to laying in her warm bed and taking lots of naps. She can be lazy too, not wanting to do anything for a whole day but instead laying in bed all day. She might often reading a book while she's inside all day, Serenity loves to read some of her favorite book genres. She's mostly into romance and fantasy stories, and drinking her most favorite teas, Jasmine, Chai, Mint, and Lemon with a bit of honey syrup.

Serenity loves to travel in the forest, looking for many strange plants and animals for her to sketch and to study for herself. Wanting to discover their full potential on what they do in their environment, it really motivates her enjoying the many ways of nature on how they survive. What she finds so fascinating is how the plants have a way of growing more and more of them everywhere. Serenity has seen from how when plants have seeds/fruit for the animals to chew and eat on. The plants is doing it's main job letting the animal take the seeds/fruit and dropping it, having the seed/fruit plant itself in the ground. Like for Serenity's example when the rat eats a fig from the fig tree, it drops the chewed fig to the ground and it plants itself again growing another fig tree and the cycle keeps going. Which is why Serenity loves respecting and learning so much from the plants ways of sprouting everywhere without the animals knowing that they're helping them do the job.

Personality:
In the mist out on the moors and the forest that surronds them, you spot what appears to be a visual trick, as figures appear to move through the cloud cover. One in particular often catches the eye, a beautiful creature adorned with pale feathers. Her singing usually echoes eerily down the mountainsides, and legend says she was created from the wildflowers of the land and the feather of a bird to be wed to a king unlike any other.

Yet upon gazing upon her face, with eyes that shine as bright and cold as chips of ice, you feel a chill. Her expression, her voice and song, they weave a story of deep sadness that digs deep inside like a cold that reaches your bones. And yet, like the weather itself, her mood can change in an instant. They say a war destroyed her land, her home, her people, and some even claim perhaps even her life. That burns in her like a fire, and in that moment when she sees you, you are at the mercy of her nature. Some she will gently push on the right path, leading them through the winding mountains and forests back to safety. Others she chases with wind and rage off the cliffside to the rocks that lead below. Sometimes, she just stands and watches, impartial, uncaring.

Any information about who she was is hard to come by, as her homeland is nothing but ruins now. Yet the few who remain will tell you a story. A story of a young queen, brought into this world to be nothing but a wife to a hero, crafted by the gods as the embodiment of the beauty of nature. A kind girl with a big heart who saw nothing but the good of others, who trusted and loved everyone. Yet they say there was always a sadness in her eyes. A longing for freedom, to be something other than a prized possession. Nature can never be tamed, and so she slowly began to wilt and weaken. She withdrew from her beloved citizens, cried in the night, and became thin and sickly. Resentment grew, and one day when a visiting king offered her a path to freedom, she allowed herself to be spirited away in the night.

They say the war made her something else, that it dredged up all the ugly things inside of her. She had been kind and loving, and for that she was given a gilded cage. Her freedom was bought with the lives of thousands of people, with pain and death and suffering. Some will tell you she was slain, some attest that she fled into the mountains, some claim that's where she died of a broken heart.

Some say only Eirwen can tell you who or what she truly is, but beware. For nature is beautiful, but it is also dangerous and wild.
