If they could have one wish, what would it be?: For his friend, Lucille, to come back to him alive and well. Lucille was a wild african dog who fell very ill. On the day of Landon's birthday, Lucille was declared dead for unknown reasons. He stopped celebrating his birthday from then, only thinking of it as Lucille's death day.

Extra 2: It was the day before his birthday, June.. what day was it? Landon never kept track since it became summer. He felt no need for it; it was simply useless to him. He stumbled out of his bed and to the calendar, scanning over it. June 6. He hoped his prayers had worked and his friend was better. Quickly, Landon rushed to the phone and dialed up Lucille's mother's number, listening to the dial tone as it rang in his ear. Click. "Landon?" The mother asked. "Yes ma'am, may I talk to Lucille, if you don't mind, please?" He asked with the hint of a whine in his voice. "A-Are you sure?" She asked as her voice cracked. "Um, yes ma'am." Landon said. It went silent as the mother audibly sniffled and began to make her way to Landon's bedroom. The door creaked open and there was inaudible speech from the phone, followed by a sound he couldn't quite make out, and then.. "Landon.." Lucille croaked. "Lucille, how are you feeling?" He asked immediately, hoping he wouldn't break the phone with his tight grip. "Fine.." Lucille answered again.

It was now June 7. Yesterday's phone call didn't go exactly as he wanted; Lucille's mother picked up again, explaining they had to let Lucille rest after he passed out. They simply couldn't afford to take him to the hospital, and so they simply hoped for the best. Landon thought of it as child endangerment, refusing to let someone go to the hospital.. but they couldn't help it. During the middle of his birthday party, he sneaked to the phone and dialed up Lucille. "L-Landon?" The mother asked, her voice barely audible. "Yes ma'am, may I talk to Lucille?" He asked nervously. "L-Landon.. I-I'm afraid, that, uh, L-Lucille is, uh, n-no longer with us, sweetheart.." The phone dropped to the floor. He picked it up again and hung up, his voice caught in his throat. Quickly, he dashed back to the party room and whispered to his parents. "End the party?" His mom asked, a confused and dazed look on her face. He nodded reluctantly and left the room, retreating to his own room where he assumed he'd find comfort in his blankets and pillows.
He didn't. He never got to say goodbye to Lucille. He never got to say goodbye..

If they could have one wish, what would it be?: to be able to run and be able to do outdoor activities. two of her legs don't move properly, these are her hind legs, she cannot jump, barely walk. Warmth of such things like fire create masses of pain. Sure there is surgery available for it, but it's so expensive it can be barely afforded.
