Cheri jumped up and down, up and down. She could hardly control herself, it was a time of the annual summer fair. She`d waited all year for this! In a booth next to the cotton candy, there was a milk jug game. Cheri wouldn`t have noticed it if it hadn`t been for the fluffy pink teddy bear in the prize section. She raced over there, and handed 4 tickets to the kalon that her parents had given her. He handed her a dirty-ish baseball. She threw the ball as hard as she could, unfornately she only hit 3 of the 10 milk jugs. But she wouldn`t let that get her down, she handed 4 more tickets to the kalon and swung again. This time, she hit 9 of the 10 milk jugs. She didn`t get them all, but it was enough to get the fluffy pink teddy bear. Its still in her bedroom and her heart to this day.

Joshua's favorite memory is quite strange at the beginning. When he was five years old, he was playing outside on his scooter while visiting his mother's farm.Joshua loved the feeling of the wind in his fur as he sped down the small hills surrounding his house. He knew the thin paths around his house better than he knew his own bedroom. The small kalon was scooting down one of these paths when his front wheel hit a small stone. It stopped suddenly, throwing Joshua into the air and over his handlebars. He lay winded for a moment on his back, staring at the sky. He never really took the time to look at the sky when he was outside; it was beautiful. What else had he missed as he zoomed past? Joshua turned his head, seeing a small pond a few meters away. He had only ever seen it as a blue blur, but now as he saw it clearly he realized what he had been missing. After he got his breath back, Joshua moved towards the pond to explore further. Algae grew thick over the pond, and water beetles disturbed the surface as they ducked under for cover from Joshua's shadow. Joshua remembers giggling as he started to dig in the mud. His pads encounted soft skin, and he reeled away. Giving himself a moment to collect himself, Joshua crept back to the spot he had dug in, peering inside. A small, spotted frog sat at the bottom of the little hole. Joshua, of course, was fascinated by this, and promptly dug out the frog, naming it Willis. He ran back home with Willis in his paws, his scooter momentarily forgotton. The proud boy presented the frog to his mother, who screamed in shock. Of course, Joshua convinced her to let him keep the frog in a small terrarium leftover from his older brother's turtles (his older brother had recently left for college, and bought a bigger terrarium for his turtles at campus). Joshua fondly remembers this day because it was the day he found his best friend, Willis the frog.

its no surprise his fondest memory has something to do with love.
in fact, he claims it was what sparked his hopeless obsession with all things romantic.

it was in second grade, when everyone was celebrating valentine's day. i'm sure you remember how everyone would bring in candy to give out.
well, in that fateful year, bertrand received a particularly special card from a "secret admirer".
he almost passed out, he was so excited. the card wasn't exactly special, just:
Happy Valentine's Day!
I love you!

bertrand obsessed over it nonetheless. he dedicated himself to finding this secret admirer, however it would have seemed that they moved to a different school, as his search proved useless.
this didn't discourage bertrand in the least though. in fact, he decided he'd help everyone else find their match, whether they agreed to it or not, much to the dismay of a few.

he remembers that time lovingly, and has since been enchanted by anything romantic.
