Personality: Trouble is around 7 years old, he's quiet, mostly deaf, and unaptly named Trouble or so people think. He doesn't let people near him or on his back. While one might think he's being rude and disrespectful or perhaps scared and shy, there is an underlying reason for his behaviour. As a foal, the child of the
Poco Bueno line. He was not an overo as the breeders had hoped, and it was discovered he was not the legitamate colt of his supposed sire and dam. The dam had managed to become impregnated with the foal of an appaloosa pony. Trouble was of no use to the breeders, as he was not even a quartar horse, and of no value compared to the foal he should have been, so he was given up before he had finished nursing. He was bought for a few hundred dollars by a fair. He was used as a
Live carousel pony for a few years until he was around 5. He developed sores around his head and neck, and was very underweight. He had developed a sway back and a bad foot. While many ponies would have been left to work until their deaths, the champagne was seen by a little girl at a fair ground. The girl's parents were a pair of rich philanthropists, who simply bribed his handlers into releasing him. However there was an issue, Trouble had no where to live. The family lived in an apartment. It was decided he would be boarded at Aspen lake. Within the two years he has been at aspen lake, the little girl, now 13 and an exelent rider well beyond the size of a pony, has taken care of him, his swayback is gone, and his ribs no longer show, but he still carries scars of his past. He's no longer comfortable with children, he stumbles around often, and yet he still will come up to the fence and nuzzle your hand.
