First Crush (250 word minimum):
Saturns first crush was actually when she was very little. She had a crush on a viscet way older then her, because thats how her mind use to work. The viscet worked at a clothing store, and she went with her mother to buy some socks for her siblings. She happened to fall in 'love' at first sight when she saw him. He was around 16, and she was around 14. Her little mind didn't comprehend the age difference at the time, so she was head over heels.
Being the shy type, she was a little skittish and always clung to her mom when he walked by. But her eyes would always follow wherever he went. Sometimes she would fake having to go to the restroom just to pass by. It was a silly, insignificant crush, but it was an annoying one she would remember for the most of her days. When her mom happened to pick out the right socks, they had to walk up to the counter and pay. And guess who was going to ring them up. The 16 year old she had a crush on. Saturn can still remember how nervous she was when she pushed the socks in front of him to ring up. They were pink with hearts on them, and that made her even more nervous. Especially embarrassed.
So, when they had to leave, Saturn was a little glad, but also a bit disappointed. She could tell that he was staring at her by the time they walked out the door. Of course it was only fate that could decide, but she couldn't help but look back as they walked away. Little did she know.. that he would be going to the same school as her next year.

Apollo's first "crush"? It was when he met a human and bonded with a human girl. He was adopted by a family, and bonded with the small human girl in the family. Apollo began to love this human with all his heart and soul, and would do anything for her. As the human grew older, Apollo was always by her side but started to become a bit too protective towards her and would bite and growl at anything, even her own parents. One day, Apollo was walking with her to school and a young man bumped into her and Apollo ended up biting the young human man's arm down hard, drawing blood. It was the end of the straw and the family was told to either put Apollo down or give him up. They couldn't bare the thought of putting the viscet down and gave him up. It broke his heart to see the human girl crying, and he started to bite and growl at the humans taking him away, they quickly locked him in a heavy cage and began to move him out. Apollo was moved far away from any humans, and lost his first "crush" He's become some what bitter since then and prefers to be alone.

First Crush:
Dist folded one corner of the letter with one paw. She looked down at it, feeling her stomach twist and swim with far-away thoughts; would-be's and should-have-beens. She didn't really know what she was doing, honestly; but she was aware of that. She'd always seen it play out in the movies that you wrote a letter confessing to everything; every time they made you smile, every time your heart was sent skyward by their words or presence. She saw this countless times; and every time it always worked.

So why hadn't it this time?

Tears stained the letter as Distance looked down at it, her form wavering as her body awoke with trembles and quakes. What had she done wrong? This was the first time that she'd ever done something like this, the first time she'd ever felt this way; and she managed to ruin it. Perhaps it was her clumsiness, or her lack of a better vocabulary; maybe it was her silly name, or this or that; anything could be the culprit. Any one of her traits, the things that made her 'herself' could have robbed her of the person she had affinity for. She felt robbed, truly; like something beautiful had been snatched away from her, right before her very eyes.

She tucked the letter back into its envelope.

It was the reply from them; her would-be sweetheart. They'd been polite, at least; but in a way that only stung more. It felt like eloquent beating around the bush. In her world there were very few individuals, and those allowed so close to her were sparing. Of course, she'd fallen for a close friend. Seeing them so regularly opened up her eyes to what kind of person they truly were; and that's what made her fall in love with them, particularly. They'd always been there for her, and she had felt that this entire time there was something more than friendship present.

She didn't think her choice was naive, or wrong; so she didn't know why it played out that way. She thought that if two people were really meant to be together; then destiny would make it so. The fates would smile upon them and the planets would alone; and everything would be perfect and wonderful.

She sighed lethargically, gazing at the letter again. It seemed that this may not have been right; wasn't there some old saying about first crushes? How the first is never the last, or the only? Perhaps she'd gotten too worked up over nothing. Dist wiped her eyes, glancing the letter again and recalling a short quip of words that stung her heart. 'Let's just be friends', the letter had said. And that's what she would do. She was determined not to let this little crush of hers, no matter how upset it made her knowing it wasn't meant to be, take her friend from her. She still cared very much for them, and of course she'd never let anything separate them; no matter what it may be.

When she was very young, she "fell in love" (looking back though she realized how kiddy it all was) with a viscet who lived next door, and she used to sit and watch him pas by her home everyday from the window. She was always embarrassed when the met at street corners and he would greet her ploitely, and she always hoped she'd muster up the courage to talk to him. However, month and days past, and she could not.

Eventually she began to doubt she'd ever admit her crush to him, and so she'd always try her best to avoid seeing him or meeting him, despite the fact their families were neighborhood friends and she was good friends with his sister. Despite the fact she thought it was all vert tragic and that it was so hush hush, almost everyone guessed it, as her embarrassment and awkwardness around him and very, very noticeable. It was one day on Valentines day that her friend, and her crush's brother, finally confronted her and told her she should confess her feelings. And yet still Jane didn't, and this went on and on.

Eventually she began to get over him and yet became good friends with him as they grew older. Soon she had moved on and almost completely forgot she ever liked him, and only saw him as a very good and kind friend of hers. However, one day, she found out him and his family where moving out of their forest village and going elsewhere. In her goodbyes to him, she jokingly admitted to her crush, and to her surprise he had a very similar tale to tell her about how he felt about her years before!

He was so kind, and charming, and he went right up and talked to her despite her shyness. She instantly fell in love, and constantly hovered around him. But he did not feel the same about her. he used her to get what he wanted, and abigail was too naive and ignorant to notice. He didn't care for her at all, she was too pushy and annoying. He, on the other hand was absolutely perfect in her eyes. He did indeed notice her, for some time. But it of course was not to be, for he felt nothing for her and eventually wanted her gone because she was becomming too much of a hassle, always in his way and not allowing him freedom. ge began to despise her as she began to love him more and more. She didn't know... she was so young and trustworthy. eventually he stopped talking to her altogether, leaving her confused and disraught to the reason. He eventually sent a letter to her saying that he ignores her because he doesn't want to look bad in front of his friends, as very few people liked Abigail. Though saying that was awful, Abigail insantly forgave him and though things would be alright and that they would be together. but that's not what happened. They just... split apart. Abigail looks back at what took place and silently punishes herself for how much of an idiot she was.
