Betta: Betta fish are very unique in appearance. They come in a wide variety of stunning colors (more than 25 colors in all) and have long, beautiful fins and tails. One of the facts about Betta fish females is that they also have vertical stripes and are generally slightly smaller and much thinner than the male Betta. They are typically around 2-3 inches when fully grown, but depending on the specific species and sex they can be smaller or larger. While professional breeders have been trying to breed a true albino betta, there hasn’t been a real one in over 50 years! There have been some close ones (such as a white betta with white eyes, but blue pupils), but a true albino hasn’t been around since 1953 (and the only other time was in 1927).
