When Kyuutai was younger, he lost his closest friend to depression. Though he knew what his friend was going through, he didn't know how to help, and found himself watching helplessly as his friend slowly sank into despair until he was found dead. Heart broken, Kyuutai grew angry at himself and those around him for letting his friend die. He remained hidden from others and kept this song in his heart and head as a sore reminder of his failure.
Though it brings him a sort of bitting pain, the song also serves to keep him dedicated to helping others avoid the dark route his friend took. Eventually, he came out of solitude and was social once more. He still keeps the song close by, and still feels guilt over his friends passing, but he finds a new light in uplifting others and trying to keep them as happy as possible.
