What is a Lampyrie?
Closely related to the feline family, they have a body similar to the shape of a cat. They have tails like a firefly and small antennae on the top of their heads. Their tail, eyes and antennae let out an eerie glow that helps with navigation and hunting during the night. Lampyries live in large groups with other lampyries, but are normally hard to see because of their great speed.

Chore: White = Crystal: helps tend to the glow crystals that form in a large cave so they don't run out.

Chosen chore: Moki enjoys tending to the crystals, and although he often finds himself wondering what it would be like to heal or light fires, he knows that the caves are where he belongs. He's a quite afraid of the dark (something which he will never admit) and so finds a great comfort within the warm glow that the crystals cast, and it fills him with a great pride to know that he has played a part in the creation of something so beautiful.

Chosen chore: Hawkling enjoys tending to the crystals in the caves, he could not imagine any other chore. He likes the feel of his feelers vibrating, and revels in the fact that he has such an important chore(He doesn't stop to realize that all of the other chores are just as important).
I think these are an amazing species!

Chosen chore: Though he doesn't mind his current chore, tending to crystals in and amongst the caverns, Aoi always revered the freshness and life brought around by those whose chores deal with the air, water, and plant growth. Occasionally he complains about the stale cave air and the somewhat gloomish atmosphere, but the offering of any other post always made him jittery and nervous, leading him and those around him to believe and know that his true chore, that of bringing up the sustaining force of the Lampyries with his well-tuned feelers, was meant for him. Aoi's seldom protests are heavily outweighed by the Lampyrie's devotion and skill in his line of profession.
