Whispering Valley Equestrain | #010 | WH32#1

Postby KathrynKat » Sun Nov 23, 2014 8:39 pm

This is my First up for adoption now... I may have over done it with the dirt, but makes this adoptable a little more exciting don't it?

I need you to come up with a story for this mare, and please... not to long I tend to not be the biggest fan of reading much.
The Story is mostly for you, but still must be something I could judge!

Gender: Mare/Dam
Breed: ?
Colour: Palomino paint
Height: 12.2hh
DOB: Unknown, but born 2007 or 2008.
Story about this mare: It was terrible, I couldn't get away. Here I was, trembling with fear caught in the wire mesh fencing! I couldn't move. Every move I made it hurt me, sending a shiver down my spine. I decided to whinny for help hoping one would hear me and come rescue me. 15 minutes passed and no one came so I decided to whinny once more. Yet again no one came. I thought it was over I thought this is where its all gonna end. I decided to lean against the wire mesh for a little bit of support so I don't collapse, it was stupid of my to try and jump the mesh. It was obviously a lot taller than me, yet typical me tried it anyway. When will I ever learn.

As soon as I started to fall asleep my ears twitched to the sound of shouting and The clatter of horses hooves cantering towards me, i stood upright and stared right at the humans and their horses. i was afraid for what might happen next
Suddenly the horses came to an abrupt halt and a human jumped down off the Palomino mares back. I whinnied softly in hope that they were here to rescue me. The human said in a calm voice "Hey girl, we're not going to hurt you we just want to help you" and she called for one of her friends to come with a large pair of fence cutters. As I saw the cutters I lowered my head out of fright and the human sensed it and she gently lay a hand on my muzzle. "You're very mucky girl! I think we need to give you a bath when we get you back to the yard" she said yet again in her calm sweet voice. She then passed me a sugar cube and I whinnied in delight as I sucked on the cube happily.

Suddenly I heard a loud SNAP and the wire had been cut! I was free from the mesh! I shook my head and flicked my tail as I lingered in the freedom. The female, who I now knew as Pheobe slipped a halter on me and I instantly didn't like it, but I knew I could trust pheobe so I let her do it and I just thought that I would eventually get used to it. And all was good as I trotted away with Pheobe and all the other Humans and Horses back to the yard to get a shower and lay down for the night.
Other: sorry its long..

Skills:
Agility: Unknown
Dressage: Unknown
Jumping: Unknown (May not pass 3 Dots)
Note: This mare has fear of heights, and will rarely lift her feet from the ground, as for her only way around is the feel of the Earth. She might be a perfect Dressage Pony if you ask me, but she will not be a good jumper (aka can't pass 3 Dots).

hello, bonjour
please call me believe

herro der mes amis, i am believe. proud canadian, ottb loving, colt breaking, nfr dreaming. pictured on the left is my racetrack reject, landofmakebelieve, aka molly, moo, shmoo, whatever name comes to mind x] molly is a 10 year old canadian bred thoroughbred mare, and standing at about 16.2hh, we look a little wonky when we chase cans, but la dee da that's alright. molly and i tried several disciplines. i tried desperately to get her to catch on to dressage, but unfortunately, she still has the race bred mind and is all go. however, together we found a discipline which we could both enjoy; western gaming. this summer we started travelling to barrel races locally. our current record on a standard size pattern is 17.314 and we are improving with every run. and to all the low budget barrel racers out there such as myself, a word of advise; chin up darling. you may not have a million dollar mount under your butt, but you and your crossbred, rejected, hard headed, rescue baby can do it. you know why? cause those girls sitting in their custom circle y's, upon shiny, top of the line mounts are full of themselves. they think there's no way they can lose. they get cocky. stay humble, believe in yourself, in your horse, and most importantly ride your little heart out.
