Explaination: When a saw this little boy I instantly thought of this song and name 'Vegard'. Vegard means 'Protector' in Norse, I though the song 'Demons' would fit him really well because in the lyrics it says 'I wanna shelter you', and to me that means protection because some of the truth is also being hidden, and truth can't always be the best. So this is why I chose both name and song as I see in my opinion it fits him nicely.

Iykan once belonged to a little native girl, they were nearly inseparable but when she went missing while collecting firewood Iykan's entire life was turned upside down. He decided that no matter how long it took him he would find her. Now Iykan wonders aimlessly through the mountains where he used to live. as the quote states his mind is muddied with grief from loosing her and his heart is heavy with sadness. He does not know where he is going or where to even begin searching for her so the trail he is searching for is lost to him but he walks it anyways.

Explaination: Brightside confessed his feelings to his best friend, the filly of his dreams. She said she felt the same but then he started to hear that she had been seen with another colt. Brightside hadn't told anyone about their relationship and his little heart broke when he heard that others thought his filly had a partner. He confronted his filly about it and she admitted it, saying she didn't want to hurt his feelings and was finding a way to tell him. He couldn't look at her anymore and left. While he's now ready to start fresh, trying to be positive, he's also secretly trying to prove that he can be the kind of stallion that any mare would feel lucky to have - and never want anyone else.

This stanza, especially the last two lines, means that one should never give up the fight, no matter how much hope seems to be lost. Always crusade for what you believe in and what you have to say. No matter what you have to say (good or bad) just say it, so that you and other people know that you had something worth saying and believing in. That is the philosophy Cinaed lives by. He sees worth in everyone, and wants them to see it themselves. He doesn't think anything is a lost cause, so long as there is hope and true, dedicated belief in something. Cinaed is not one to stand by and be passive. He is firm in his beliefs and will be happy to be the one standing out in a crowd of others because of it. Cinaed believes everyone is entitled to (and should have) his/her own opinion, not just "go gentle" into passivity, or follow whatever the loudest voice is saying.

This song can easily describe how strong and content Kai is. He doesn't have much, but the love of his herd and a healthy body is all that he needs. It explains how you shouldn't get distracted by things that are unobtainable and seem impossible. The main thing that you should focus on the things that you have and to be content. That doesn't mean that you just stop dreaming and thinking big, but you should remember that there are more important things. Although Kai struggles with this, like everyone else, he is very good at remind himself of what's truely important.
