A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewels on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mammals such as birds, squirrels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to attract females.

Aneira Pamela; I think the name would fit this gorgeous girl perfectly. Since her powers are snow-related I figured a snow-related name would suit her well too. Aneira, originally Welsh, means "Golden Snow". Her eyes are pure golden, they stuck out to me so I think she needs a name to stick out as well. But the golden color also reminded me of sweet honey. Pamela means "Honey; all sweetness." so her full name would be Aneira Pamela. C;

Aneira Pamela has many different qualities, most being good. Firstly, she is very quiet. She rarely talks and is quite shy. Especially around males. She is rarely attracted in a romantic way though, so it would take a lot to win her over. Aneira loves to hang out with friends and play with her powers. Some people would call her weird but unique is a better word. She is very forgiving and never holds grudges but she is sensitive to bullying.
You will often find Aneira staring at blank walls or talking to no one in particular.

When Neir was young, her parents were driving home from a week long vacation. The little thing had been contently staying with her grandparents. That is, until the car pulled up. The car with lights and a man with a gun. The man who approached the door confidently but with a look of sorrow. A look of sorrow that revealed the truth. Her parents weren't coming home. Ever.

Even though Neir knew what the man would say, she still had to hear it. Her grandparents had ordered her to stay in the kitchen but she managed to creep around to the living room and watch from her hiding spot. She hugged her knees to her chest as her eyes glued themselves to the officer from behind the old blue and red rocker.

Her grandfather opened the door cautiously and looked over the officer then quickly replied with a voice quivering, half from age, half from fear, "What can I do for you?"
The officer spotted Neir but said nothing about her presence, "Sorry to bother Sir. Are you Mr. Caterings?"
Aneira's grandfather nodded slowly as his wife hugged his arm.
Biting his lip, obviously from the disappointment of finding the right people, the young man cleared his throat and whispered, "I'm afraid your son and his wife got into an accident. The other driver... I'm so sorry, but they didn't make it." The officer was struggling to find the right words. In school, he had been taught what to say but it was much harder in reality...

Neir could tell the young officer was breaking from his "be strong, be calm, be honest." punchline. His eyes were glistening as he offered his last condolences and pulled away from the door. Neir watched him stumble away until the closing door blocked her view. She watched her grandmother fall into her husband's arms, loosing all control, sobbing, weeping...

Aneira could feel the knot that felt like a punch in the throat. Her vision was blurring quickly. She quickly wiped her eyes and crawled away from the chair's comfort and up to her room. There she crawled under her bed and sobbed like no other.

They were never coming back.. Never again would she get to feel her father's strong arms wrap around her.. Her mother's warm eyes... The fun days eating ice-cream on the curb counting cars, the crumbling apple and cherry pies, the endless attention on her birthday... How could one crash take it all away...

Aneira Pamela talks to walls. Or anything for that matter. No one has ever asked her why, but the reason is this. She can talk to and see her mother and father. No one else can, but Neira can see many people who have died, almost like living in two dementions...
