A Jewel Mane Dragon is a large creature with jewels on their foreheads and tails.They eat mostly small mammals such as birds, squirrels, and rabbits. The fur on their back, hind, and front legs feel like the softest of silk and is pretty short. The fur around their neck (Also know as their mane) and tail is very soft, fluffy, and long. Jewel mane Dragons mostly keep to themselves but when they find someone they like the grow very attached, loyal, and talkative. They're all slightly bigger than a mustang but some grow to be as large as a elephant. All Jewel Mane Dragons have jewels at the end of their tail and on their forehead, there's really no exception to that rule. The jewel on their tail is used as a weapon in combat and hunting, while the jewel on their forehead is used during mating season to attract females.

Name: { "Essence, whats it to you? And no, I already know your name and I honestly don't want to." I named her Essence because the name kind of has a mystical feel to it and she gave me a mystical impression. (Don't really know why.)

Short Personality: { "I guess I would say I'm considered spunky and sharp tongued." She is very spunky, which is basically all she is. Courageous, spirited, energetic, tough, determined, gutsy, brave, bold, and lively are all words to describe her. As for the sharp tongued bit, she was telling the truth. She gets annoyed and mad easily, and doesn't get along with many. She is suprisingly very sensitive, though.
How does she use her Jewel?: { "Against you, thats how." She likes to use it against others and know all their secrets. If someone is thinking mean things about her, she is actually very sensitive and will be mad at you for a looong time.

alana is that type of jmd that is quite hard to find. filled with talent. her natural gift is envied by most creatures, but she keeps to herself. alana never boasts about anything and never wishes to. her gift is never shared around the community. she never was one to be social. her friends call her a loner. she confines herself to her room on most days. at night, alana wanders in search of fireflies to paint or draw. to sum it up she is very shy and creative. she has never had an outburst. her life centers around herself and her paintings. on special occasions, the field behind her house will be lit up in fire-works, ones that alana creates. the few that alana has to call friends never encourage her to get out more, they respect her wishes. her adopted brother has never been close to her, as she is always distant. her lack of talk has driven most jmds to thinking that she is mute. alana's social life crumbled to pieces in the last few years. her favourite hobby is singing, it's the way she expresses herself. alana is very shy, sweet, caring, distant, creative, intelligent, and quiet. she has never had someone to call her own. her house is crowded with paintings. she is a bit obsessive over her art and one piece never goes to waste.
