Roleplay Response: Mortimer was now well-rested, taking a short break before continuing onward. He was happy he was no where near those icky bats - ugh, he shuddered just thinking about them. He breathed in deeply, wondering which path he should take. Down one path was the scent of candy, while the other one held an acrid, putrid scent like decaying flesh. He decided he'd go straight - he thought he could just smell fresh air wafting down that channel.

Roleplay Response: Now that he was more composed after meeting the bats, Sam eyed the branching paths thoughtfully. The glass wall had been frustrating, but at least he'd been afforded a nice view of the labyrinth. If only he could remember the right path to take now... at last, Samoel made his decision and went straight again. After all, sooner or later, it would probably end up being right.
