Origin: Welsh
Meaning: "Holly"

Reason: I know that the name means "Holly" which is more of a Christmas time name. Hollies are not pretty from afar. In fact, they are simple and dull. However, up close, you see their true beauty. Though not a flower, their berries gleam like rubies in the sunlight. So, where am I going with this? I picked the name for two reasons. The first was because I wanted a name that sounded very feminine, but worked for a male. Celyn was a very simple, but cute name that could work for either genders. The second reason ties with the holly example before. I wanted a name that could reflect him as a unique individual. The sense that people only see others skin deep unless they get to know them. This is when they see the beauty with in. The same applies to the holly plant. It is dull, average, and not all that pretty to look at. Yet, when you get close, you see it for it's beauty. In no way is this boy ugly, but his personality is rather dull unless one gets to know him.

About Me: "Hi, my name is Renea. It's pronounced Ren-AY. Like the name Rene or Renee. As a child I came up with the name to fit my character, who later became my temporary persona from her creation to '09. Anyway, I'm here to attempt to apply for this Kiamara. He's a beautiful boy and whoever gets him is truly lucky. I'm not the best for prettying up my forms, but I will do my best to make this work in my time limit. I have only applied for one other Kiamara, the '14 April Fools Kiamara. I lost and therefore have no Kiamaras. I pride myself on my artwork, but seeing a lot of artists who are much, much better than I am I feel truly blessed to be able to try out."

Reason: Although this beautiful Kiamara has many feminine qualities such as his colors, his flowers, and so on. I truly do not see him as a female, but instead a male with an air of femininity about him.

" The light steam of a freshly baked batch of cookies wafts through the air, the scent being carried throughout the room. He takes the tray out and carefully sets it next to the previous one he took out. A pile of cookies rests beside those, a mixed array of chocolate chip and dyed sugar cookies. Each one is in their own unique pile. He takes the sugar cookies and puts them in the refrigerator as he works to prepare the home made frosting with his secret recipe. As he does so, he looks out to the garden to see his flowers in full bloom. It was just another Easter morning before he goes on his daily run of delivering treats and flowers. "

About: Celyn is a baker. He loves to bake cookies, especially around Easter where he's free to use bright, neon dyes and crazy colors. Every year he bakes dozens of cookies, both chocolate chip and sugar cookies. He then cools the sugar cookies and frosts them with intricate designs before letting those cool as well. As they cool, he picks flowers to go with his cookies. He then divides up the cookies and puts three or four in a small little clear bag and ties it with a bright ribbon. With each bag, there is one flower. Putting them in a basket, he travels to town and stops at the hospital. There, he delivers his goodies and flowers among the patients. He proceeds to do this at homeless shelters and nursing homes as well. To Celyn, there is nothing better on Easter than giving.

Extra #2: Personality

Celyn is a very dynamic, confusing Kiamara. He is also very loving and devoted to his friends and charity. Due to his loss of his parents when he was little, Celyn was typically the outcast. He became bitter and distrusted many people until a homeless old woman shared her wisdom with him. Celyn shortly changed his tune and started to work for charities and talking to patients and the elderly. Celyn's kindness was something he kept a secret. He stayed a loner and most left him alone. He was just seen as the average Kiamara, despite his not so average personality. When he was still rather young, he found his passion for baking. It was another secret from society. He often told lies about everything. He was never ashamed of who he was, but he didn't want the help of others. Celyn wanted to be the one and only hero, which is perhaps his greatest downfall. He rarely has bad days and always finds a reason to keep smiling.
