    Day: 3
    Dog used: Dorsin
    Prompt:
Dory shook his head, the story his friend just told him was really creepy! he
knew that he wouldn't be able to sleep. Since he wasn't able to sleep,
he decided to write about the spooky story.

"the young pup slowly turned his head to peek at the tall birches that loomed overhead.
the winds made his small curls swivel in between the gusts of harsh weather. Fog blocked his
view, he could only see to about 30 feet. eerie sounds seemed to travel with the winds,
they sounded if they were low, deep, growls of a angry animal. The young pup couldn't
take it, he bolted across the forest, tripping over roots of rotting trees. His flopped ears
caught on a bush, but nothing at this point could stop him. a teeny bit of his ear tore off,
and still, the determined little guy would never stop running, until he made it out. A soft
shadow peered out from the trees. a human like figure, a long slithering body, around 9 feet
tall. Pointed teeth were proudly shone with a large grin that went from the tip of its nose,
to the back of its head. gigantic coal black holes where its eyes would've been placed.
The pup froze, he took a close look at the creature. his thoughts on the tall thing were
interrupted by a loud, high pitched scream. It lunged toward the small dog, its teeth
bared out and a long black dripping tongue hung from its grinning mouth.
    -------------------------------------------
the pup had fainted, he was okay, though a bit petrified. His pastel pink tongue lolled out from
his teeny teeth. He was still in the creepy woods. It was now day though, which made it better.
He paced about, and thought about what had happened,
was it a dream? was it real? did i fall asleep?
so many questions floated around in his head. The picture of the creature in his mind was now
really foggy, and hard to think about. a small spider crawled over him, a black widow, its
hourglass shape on the back of it stood out from the pitch black base colour. The web spun
out from the deadly spider. It wrapped its strong, sticky web against the pup. He didn't care for it
much, as it looked weak, and he knew he could get out soon. The small spider jumped about,
working on every bit of the web, perfecting it.
    oh great
it was raining, how nice. Though, the pup didn't care. He was so damn tired, and just wanted to take
a small nap. So what if his coat gets wet? what else could get any worse? Stuck in the woods,
wrapped around with web, attacked, ripped ear. Man oh man, the little guy didn't even know what his
last normal moment was. Quail clucked loudly beside him, he didn't have and motivation to
try to quiet the loud birds down. The only thin k at this point that he really wanted was sleep.
    ----------------------------------------
Finally, a nice nap.It happened to be morning again. Looking about, he felt his stomach grumble.
    eugh, food.
just the thought of it grossed him out. Not sure why it did, but it did for some reason. long grass
along with the tall birch and oak trees towered of the hungry dog. plant bushes were there in the distance,
but, he was, trapped? he tugged, and scratched the ground pulling himself towards the berry bushes.
his back, legs, neck, and some of his face was in layers of web. thick, sticky spider webs,
h-how? how is this possible? can it be real? nah, its not real, it cant be!
he bit his arm, making sure it wasn't a nightmare. nope, not a nightmare. he was there, in the middle of a
dense woods, trapped in stacks of spider webs. The spider crawled up to its home, then buried itself into
its big home. The curious puppy peeked around into the home of the spider. it was in a small corner,
hiding in thin strips of the thread nest it made. it wasn't looking at him, so he made a small noise to get
its attention. It turned, and a familiar long, curled smile was spread across it's face, familiar deep black
holes found in the face, and a familiar tall body. It crouched, and
    whispered;
    bye, bye
and it lunged towards the pup, the same exact expression as the human like creature from the latest night."

    Day: 3
    Dog used: Hareton
    Prompt:

    "A scary story, huh?"

Hareton walked around the house, squishing sounds following behind him because of the goo that made up one of his front paw.

"Alright. I got just the story for you. So sit down and be quiet. You're in for quite the scare!"

Hareton was silent for a few moments after he said that, quite like he was pondering what story to tell. Suddenly, he sat down, his tail made of glowing red goo curling around him. He opened his mouth and began to tell his spooky tale.

"It was a late night on Halloween. . ."

A group of Doodle Dogs decided that this year for Halloween, instead of going trick-or-treating, they'd instead go to the cabin that their family owned by a lake, somewhere up in the mountains. The group consisted of four Doodles. Annabelle, Boyd, Jack, and Cindy. It had been a few hours since they arrived, and it was decided upon that the four would go to the lake for a midnight Halloween swim. All but Cindy agreed to the swim. Cindy was too worried about her precious coat rather than enjoying time with her friends. She stayed in the house while the others were down at the lake.

Cindy was watching a few Halloween movies on the TV that sat in the livingroom of the cabin. Most of the house was dark except the living room. The group had been out for around an hour, so Cindy had expected them to be home at any minute. So once she heard the sloshing of pawsteps and two pairs of eyes, she figured that the group was making their way back to the cabin.

The sloshing got closer, and Cindy sat up in the chair, looking toward the door. She heard the sloshing stop at the door and waited for it to open. But it didn't. Confused, the Doodle got up out of the chair and padded over to the window, taking a glance at the window. She soon discovered that the sloshing didn't belong to her friends, but instead belonged to a horrifying monster with four eyes and dripping red goo. Terrified out of her witts, Cindy backed away from the window and slunk down against the wall, hoping that the monster didn't see her. She prayed that the monster would go away in due time so she could sneak out of the house to get her friends and then get out of the cabin. And eventually, the monster did go away. She heard the sloshing move away from the door and back into the forest, where she assumed the monster lived. She gave it a few minutes before eventually emerging from the house.

Cindy made haste toward the lake. Or at least, she thought she was making haste toward the lake. Instead, Cindy was travelling on a hiking trail that led her deeper into the forest, where the goo monster lived. She hadn't realized this, since this was her first time at the cabin with her friends. So she ran. On and on, deeper and deeper, until she eventually lost the trail and realized that she hadn't taken the path to the lake. Now was the time to panic. She was alone in the forest where the monster retreated into after leaving the cabin. The monster could've been anywhere! Cindy looked around quickly, until she saw a glowing red light. She squinted to see what it was. Perhaps a fire? Maybe another cabin? Either way, it was light, and it looked to be helpful. So she made her way toward the light, heart pounding in her chest.

As Cindy neared the red light, she began to notice that something was. . . off. It seemed like the red light was moving. Left, right, away from her, then suddenly. . . toward her. Cindy, even more panicked now that the red light was quickly approaching her, turned started to blindly run in the forest. Suddenly, Cindy tripped over something. She fell onto the ground with a loud thump. It took the wind out of her for a second, and she just sat there in shock. Meanwhile, the red light made its way closer to her, and she knew that with every passing second, it came closer... and closer... and closer. Cindy tried to get up, but instantly fell back down, her back leg throbbing. She had hurt herself, and was stuck there now. She looked in the direction of the red light, and soon saw that it was the tail of the same monster from earlier that she saw. His tail glew bright red, and goo dripped off of it. And it was coming closer. Slosh. Squish. Slosh. Squish. Stop.

Everything was quiet. Until Cindy realized that the monster was standing before her, looking at her with its four eyes. "F-Friend. . . stay. . . forever. . ." The monster mumbled, looking down at Cindy.

    Squish!

Hareton slammed down his paw made of goo, which frightened his friends, as they jumped back in response. A grin appeared on Hareton's face because of the reaction he got out of his friends.

"Annabelle, Boyd, and Jack Boyd came back that night and discovered Cindy gone. They followed the red goo left behind by the monster, and eventually it led them to the place where Cindy fell. They knew this because they found a some of her fur." Hareton said, looking at each of his friends. "Cindy was never seen again." An evil laugh emerged from the back of Hareton's throat to add another spooky factor after ending his story. He seemed to be successful in his story telling as well, because his friends sat there, wide-eyed and shaking.

Boy... Hareton loved telling spooky stories. He loved that one so much in particular because... He made himself the goo monster!

    Dog used: Kobra
Prompt: Kobra looked at his reflection in the mirror, excited for the time to trick-or-treat to come. He'd thought long and hard about what he wanted to dress as - picking a costume was one of his favorite parts of Halloween (although really, everything about Halloween was his favorite; there was no better time of the year!). Kobra had spent hours at the store before finally deciding to go as a classic monster: a vampire. He loved the dark cape he wore, with a silver bat clip holding it on. He loved the stylish victorian-esque vest and the dark boots that he'd found hidden, the only pair of their kind. Kobra had considered fake fangs, but decided that he didn't need them as his teeth were already larger than most others. Besides, eating the delicious treats handed out would be far easier without fake teeth in the way. Smiling to himself, he felt satisfied with the costume. Kobra found the basket he used each year, a dark thing covered in white snakes and set it out in view, something else to remind him of the upcoming holiday, along with his many other spooky decor. Kobra removed his costume for now, setting it in a special spot within his wardrobe. He couldn't wait for Halloween!

    Dog used: Kobra
Prompt: Kobra grabbed his journal as he prepared to leave to meet his friends; they were having a little sleepover, and since it was mid October, they had plans to spend the night doing all sorts of spooky, Halloween themed things together. They had plans to watch scary movies and show off their costumes for the year, playing fun games and just enjoying themselves together as they filled up on all sorts of candy and other junk food that they always inevitably buy far too much to even justify through the candy holiday, especially since they didn't normally hand out the candy, preferring to trick-or-treat instead. But Kobra's favorite part of this yearly tradition of theirs was the part where they took turns sharing scary stories. Some of them would create their own, while others would recount well known stories that they'd heard before but never got tired of hearing again each year. Kobra preferred to write his own. The others always loved his stories, which he often planned meticulously and months ahead. Often, he'd start writing it as soon as he returned from that year's sleepover, wanting to ensure he had the best story for the next year; he practically lived for those moments. Kobra loved the frightened, emotional faces of his friends as he told his tales, woven with suspense, mystery, horror, everything that makes for a good scary story. After all, this was his favorite time of the year, and writing was his favorite thing to do, so why not combine these things into something amazing? The story for this year, however, was something special to him...

Kobra's parents had seen many snakes the same day he was born and the red swirls on his fur prompted his parents to give him his name. In fact, they often say that since Kobra was born, there seemed to be more snakes around than ever before. And Kobra loved these creatures. He would study them, reading all about them and watching as they slithered by. When he was really little, snakes were all he would talk about. However one day, Kobra witnessed something that broke his little puppy heart; a snake had been killed. This upset him deeply, even if it might have seemed a bit over dramatic to others. Kobra drew from his memories of that feeling, so strong and clear despite his young age, and he turned it into a terrifying story from the perspective of a snake. The snake went through many horrible things as it was hunted down, but he made the snake and interesting and likable as he could. In the end, the snake died, and Kobra hoped to create a similar feeling in his friends to what he'd felt that day as a puppy.

Even Kobra himself had been through worse than that silly event, but even so, he still felt that the moment was important to him, as it was the first time he'd truly witnessed the possible horrors of life firsthand, even if it wasn't the most upsetting thing. And this made his story important to him; it might even have become his favorite scary story. Or at least one of them...
