prompt: "Oh, not again..." Lumi said as she looked outside her window. She had just gotten out of bed and ready to start the day when she realised the swirling snowstorm outside. It was like this last winter and it lasted for days. Lumi is a very busy kalon and without being able to go outside she has nothing to do.

However based on the events from the last time she was stuck inside, Lumi had thought of a plan to keep her busy. She finished getting ready and made her way to the living room. Lumi really loved to watch movies and she had a massive collection of them. Even though many other kalons preferred to watch them online now-a-days, Lumi preferred to have a physical copy. She also liked to stack all the DVD's together so she could show off to friends whenever they came over. It was a great conversation starter, apparently. She had seen all the movies she owned a thousand times so during the year she had brought a dozen more.
She took all her new ones out and put them next to the DVD player. She chose what one she would see first and inserted the disk into the player.

"Right! This will a good way to spend the day. But one thing is missing..." she said to no one in particular but herself. As the DVD was loading she dashed to her kitchen. She had a packet of popcorn saved especially for a day like this. She prepared the popcorn and immediately went back to the living room.

Her couch looked to be untouched apart from the dip in the seat where she usually sat. She sat down in her seat and got herself all comfy. Her coffee table, as usual, was a mess, covered in old magazines and a book she had finished reading. She searched for her remote which she found liked to hide under all her mess on the table. As soon as she found it she began the movie.

"Now this is how you spend a day snowed in!" she said aloud and smiled. And on her couch is where she spent the rest of her day until she eventually dozed off.

ZeeZee panicks as snow surrounds her. Its up to the walls of her house, and she can see it cloud over her windows. She's lucky she doesn't enjoy the outdoors much, or it might have been her under the snow! The lights suddenly flicker out. ZeeZee pulls up her laptop and tries to message her friends, but it runs out of energy the second she logs on! She opens a craft drawer and finds some knitting supplies. For the cold, she decides to start knitting a wool hat.

The wind outside howled as it whipped around the corners of January's home. Looking out the window, she was greeted with a terrifying, yet stunning scene of soft white snow being illuminated by the warm candle which sat next to her on the window nook. The night was just beginning, for the sky was dark, yet no moon nor stars could be found in this wintry scene. In fact, besides the small tree only a yard or so from her home, January could see absolutely nothing besides the turret of white.

She sighed gently, wondering what she could do in the absence of connection to the outer world. January sat next to the already-lit fireplace, sweeping her eyes over the room. Her knitting kit lay strewn over to the side, and she walked over and picked it up. Warm memories of using it flooded her mind, and she remembered the talent she once possessed in the craft of knitting. Why had she forgotten about such a wonderful hobby of hers?

So, curled up in a warm blanket, the kalon worked the night away, making a soft, fluffy sweater.

adrienne was preparing herself for yet another day spent
roaming the woods. the cold didn't stop her from going to
explore. although the massive snowstorm which abruptly
hit was completely unexpected. she had just pulled on h
er boots when a rough wind rattled her window, and imm
ediately her gaze shifted upwards. frowning in anger and
displeasure she examined a bit further before confirming
today there would be no going into the woods. she wasn't
even sure if she'd be capable of getting the door open, le
t alone leaving the house. going outside and exploring wa
s her daily routine, and as a result she had no clue what s
he'd do. taking off her boots and jacket she returned to th
e kitchen where she made herself a cup of hot chocolate,
a drink adrienne figured would be fit for the day. boredly
she walked into the living room, her drink in hand, and tu
rned on the television to check the weather channel and
news. sure enough it warned that there was a dangerous s
nowstorm outside, and it recommended all citizens stay in
side for the day. school was cancelled for the little ones.

heard a knock at her door, questioning why anyone would

there's no escape.
she thought, her eyes widening with terror.
she ran to the fridge in seconds, grabbing as much food as possible.
she laid under the kitchen table, eating as much as she could.
darn stress eating... i should be saving the food!
she thought, shoving more food into her mouth.
she ran again to the fridge, taking out a tub of water.
she put it under the table too, panicking of how she may be trapped.
she then ran up the stairs and grabbed a sketchbook, pencil, her laptop, and a blanket made by her grandma.
she went back under the table, putting the blanket on her whole body.
she drew a tiny bit, before going on her laptop and watching stuff on netflix.
she did this for hours and hours, only stopping to look out the window.
her fears started to die down as she went to the fridge and made herself hot cocoa.
she went into the living room and brought all her stuff there, before laying down and taking a long nap.
