Reyala is a very shy kalon that would rather sit at home and read a book than go out to some wild party with a ton of people. She can also get easily annoyed at the foolish behavior of those around her. She is a verycalm and collected gal, though, and almost never shows her frustrations to anyone other than herself.

The night of Reyala's sophomore homecoming dance, she finally decided to try and open up to her peers a little. The dance scene wasn't much like her, but she knew that if she didn't go it would just be another long night at home alone, reading her favorite book for the fifth time. Which, of course, she had no problem with, but Reya was beginning to feel the small crack between her and those around her growing into a much more cavernous split. She got really fancied up, and was trying to convince herself in the mirror that she'd have a grand time if only she just let herself relax when her mother called that her friends were there to pick her up. When she and her two friends arrived at the dance, all seemed to be okay. However, the other, more popular students had heard of Reyala's decision to attend the dance, and they plotted to play a nasty trick on her. The entire night they tormented her by doing things like flicking gum in her hair and "accidentally" spilling things on her dress. At the end of the night, Reyala snapped and began to yell at anyone who came near her out of fear that they would try and humiliate her too. Reya ended up leaving the dance even worse off than before. Thoroughly convinced that all other teens were evil, Reya closed herself off even more than she had already been before.

Likes:
Potato chips, the beach, books, quiet, and fireflies.

loud noises, a ton of people, lack of control over bad situations, and mainstream teenagers.

Quirks:
Reya twirls her hair while she reads, and when she walks, she swishes her tail back and forth which sometimes causes her to fall down.
6th: describe his/her perfect date or vacation
Perfect Vacation:
Reya's perfect vacation would be in a privately rented villa that is secluded from the prying eyes of others, and that sits atop a dmall hill right in front of the oceans of Costa Rica's southern province. There are hammocks that hang from the walls made of winding wood and an infinite pool that overlooks the oceans waters. Incredible wildlife surround her at all times, and save for the loud growls of howler monkies and the wailing calls of red macaws, all is completely silent and perfect for her to read. Every night, fireflies would float about and surround her with their glorious twinkling lights.

Her eyes were like summer,
But she hid them away.
Her mind was exquisite,
But she'd never say.
She was alone,
Supposedly by choice.
She stayed at home,
Losing her voice.
And all the while,
the other kids would taunt,
they'd chuckle and smile,
She'd be at home, alone;
A self-proclaimed exile.
