short story;; myosotis' guardian was a well known florist who died near the beginning of their fame. flowers and arrangements had always been the most important thing to them, occasionally even more so than their own child. myosotis respected their guardian, but often felt unwanted or unappreciated. when they passed away, myosotis didn't grieve. no, it was more like a wake up call. myosotis wanted to prove that they had worth. even if their guardian wasn't here to see it. they wouldn't live their life feeling useless. myosotis was determined to become a great florist, partially to show that they are not incompetent, but also to preserve their family's name. despite their mistreatment, they still wanted their guardian to be proud of them. myosotis refused to let themselves or their guardian be forgotten. this is why myosotis loves flowers. they prevent unrememberance, and served as a path to their personal redemption.

Nature was all he knew. He was raised by the forest, cared for by all it's creatures and sheltered from harm by the trees and bushes. Rivers told him stories of the fish and the oceans that they ran into in quiet voices. Trees spoke of times gone by. But the flowers wove him tales of heroes and princesses, of dragons and the futile efforts of man. They weren't always happy stories, but he listened anyway. And when the time came for the flowers to start dying, each would request to him that he take them with him, so that they could hear the stories he made up as he wandered.
Every day he made a new crown with the flowers that felt their life fading, weaving an elaborate crown out of them. And to this day he makes his new crowns, letting each flower hear one last story.

Congrats! This was so so hard to judge, so many great stories!! Star, and labradude will also be getting runner ups! Let me know what base color you want (pm me). c:

Short Story; When Faith was younger, her mother told her that dandelions were the spirits of the captured flower fairies, and when she would blow them out, the flower fairies' spirits would be set free and released, and a rose would bloom in the place where the dandelions grew. Faith now lives in a house with a field of dandelions and roses in her yard & backyard.
