Cow: SongbirdPrompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words. The hardest part is always picking the fabric and matching the colors. Songbird knew this from helping cut fabric at work. She knew that this was going to be no easy task. She decided to choose the backing first as it could be one solid color. She knew she didn’t want to use any wool in the quilt. She can be somewhat forgetful and everyone knows, you can’t dry wool. She went back and forth with the other options for awhile, ultimately choosing Sherpa. The cool fall weather just screams sherpa. She’ll just have to keep the hay at bay. Sherpa seems to just attract the hay and wood shavings! Once she decided on the backing she changed her focus to the actual fabrics. She wanted to choose colors that complimented the thread she picked on day one. She absolutely loves tie dye patterns and ombré tones. She looked for something that fit the bill and found two shades of tie dye blue and five shades of tie dye greens. She can make an ombre effect with the multiple different colors. She had to admit that was easier than she thought. She was so excited to finally bring it all together!

Cow: Midas Prompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words.Midas knew he wanted his backing to frame the patchwork of his quilt. Aiko would without a doubt insist they hang it up on the wall of their bedroom when he was finished with the project. It would save them bringing in the village frame worker to make one for them later. As it stood, the
fabric keeper was already here, laying out her finest pieces. His eye was drawn to a particular
green fabric to use. To separate the frame from the main design, a plain complimentary white. the flying geese pattern would be made up of alternating night sky stars and smooth gold fabrics. (106)

Cow: teddyPrompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words.before beginning to look through the fabrics, teddy had no set idea for what she was looking for. whatever spoke to her would be what she chose.
"no. no. too dark. too plain. it needs to be perfect"
all at once there it was, the perfect fabric. teddy had almost gone right on over it in her hunt. a soft yellow with orange and pink suns decorating the fabric. it might not make for the most elegant looking quilt but at least it would be unique. to go along with it teddy found an orange tie-dye and solid yellow fabric. as for the backing teddy went with a soft pink cloud like design, might as well stay on theme of going all out.

Cow: croissant
Prompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme?
Croissant wandered over to the fabric wall, carefully surveying her options. She was immediately drawn to a cheetah print fabric, so she quickly snatched the heavy bundle. It seemed like her choice was not too popular in the past. That is fine, she thought, just more for her to use. Croissant knew that she would probably end up using a good chunk of it, since she had no idea what she was doing when it came to sewing and constructing the quilt.
It was very difficult for Croissant to pick out a few other fabrics to go along with her first choice. The main problem that she faced was that there were just so many options. Rows upon rows of neons, subtle pastels, wacky designs, and solid colors made her head throb. She eventually decided on a solid metallic gold fabric and a solid plush black fabric. Describing the quilt as gaudy would be an understatement. “Flashy to match my personality,” she stated as she crossed paths with Barnaby. [169]

Cow: Pumpkin RollPrompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words.Right, now it was time for the fabrics. While Pumpkin Roll was usually all into designs having to do with foods, that instead of doing something related to that, she would choose a design based on one of her other favorite things; leaves. Luckily, she was able to scout the perfect pattern with various uses of browns with a tad bit of red in order to bring out the leaf like
pattern.
While the front of the quilt would match with the fall themed colors of browns with the orange stitching, for the backing, she decided to simply just finish it off with a nice solid dark brown in order to compliment the actual pattern she chose on the quilt.

Cow: Iku
Prompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words.
She panicked. She panicked and she sent the table in front of her flying over in her rush to pick out her fabric. She could cry right now, but she wasn’t going to. No, she was gonna suck it up, because this was the equivalent to crying over spilled milk, right? Spilled… quilt..?
She gave herself a laugh as she wiped the lone saltwater drop that threatened in the corner. She picked up her mess, and as she went, sorting it back out and putting it all in its place, she chose a deep red with golden flowers, and a cream floral that had yellow and orange floral patterns.
She stared at her choices, picturing the final product on her head and smiled. Maybe not the ones grandma had made, but it would still be a lasting reminder of her, and that was okay with Iku. Happily, she took her fabric back with her.

Cow: Nesquik
Prompt: What fabrics did your Buttermilk choose? Are they all solid? Maybe some florals? Are they going for a specific color scheme? Minimum 100 words.
Nesquik glanced at the piles of fabric that all the others were ruffling through, and then quickly jumped into the fray, determined to get some nice fabric before they were all gone. She knew she wanted 4 different fabrics - 1 for the background, and 3 others, each to represent someone in the family. Her hands seemed to get lost in the amount of fabric there was, but her hand caught on a lovely floral fabric dotted with little pink roses and bluebells. It reminded her of the small garden bed she tended to with Milkshake while she was little, to teach her young daughter the fine tunings of taking care of something, sowing a sense of responsibility. As if it were fate, as she pulled out the floral fabric, a baby blue fabric came along with it. It was just like her and Tsunami’s first date - a little picnic on the lake. The blue reminded her of the colour of the water that watched them through all of their awkward first questions. Satisfied with her picks for the other 2, she quickly picked out a yellow fabric to represent the dress she wore every weekend to make breakfast for her 2 favourite people, and a lovely ivory fabric for the background.
