Ever since Aponi was little, she'd always had a fascination with butterflies. They were pretty, and the way they fluttered about never failed to make her smile. Butterflies always looked to be in such a hurry, and Aponi was often reminded of a frazzled little man scurrying down the street. Bumping into things was common as well and for the longest time, Aponi wondered if butterflies were blind -- why were they flying if they couldn't see? Such a curious thought led to checking out every butterfly related book at her local library, and Aponi only continued from there. The introduction of her first laptop led to even more research, and by the time Aponi was fifteen she was essentially a butterfly expert. Her parents weren't surprised the day she decided to become a lepidopterist.

• paranormal stuff was attracted to him even when he was a little kit; then he grew up and became a ghost hunter

• can't really see the ghosts but can feel their presence (+ he's using some high-tech goggles to be able to see them)

Milo is a huge sweetheart and a very calm dude. He constantly tries to put others before himself mostly in the form of doing simple things, like holding open a door for a stranger or helping someone who dropped something. He can tend to forgive his own needs however and is still learning to balance out caring for himself and being a helpful person. A lot of times he likes to let people vent to him and try and offer them advice. Sometimes it's not his place to tell them things they can do, but he knows having someone listen is just as good.

Milo is a fragile person who can't do anything that involves a lot of strength. No lifting boxes for him. While he looks like almost anything could break him, most are surprised to find that he has three very excitable and rowdy huskies at home. He gets jumped on a lot upon returning home and it surprisingly doesn't bother him at all.

He's very interested in old artifacts and stories of how life used to be, it fascinates him. Which is why he loves his job of working at a museum as a tour guide for kids field trips. He loves answer questions and sharing facts about the exhibits they're viewing so a group with a lot of questions is a treat for him.
