Skunks are very important to the balance of an ecosystem and Marattia rescues and nurses skunks back to health. The work is hard, stinky and 24/7 but Marattia loves seeing the small waddling creatures venture back to freedom.

Jamie goes into the forest to scream. Life is trying for the young kalon- puberty is just so confusing and filled with to many emotions for her to handle- and sometimes it feels like she desperately needs to release some pent up emotions. Yelling at the top of her lungs helps her with this, and relives her stress and frustration. The forest never has any people in it or anything so it seemed to her like a good place to complete this socially deviant (though very helpful) activity.

Small rays of sun flutter from the canopy above, peaking delicately through the branches. The flowers below curl towards the sunlight, longing for the nurturing rays. Lillian can be found planting the small seeds along the suns path on the floor. As the sun moves through out the day, the shadowy expanse is filled with the light from the flowers as the sun moves across them through the day. She fills the dark areas with shade loving ivy, which creeps up on the flowers, framing them in a beautiful picture of light and dark. Lillian treats the plants like her own children, helping them grow and prosper. At night, Lillian fills the space with lanterns and glow worms which make the flowers sparkle, creating a beautiful yet mystical space for her to rest. Lillian creates these beautiful spaces wherever she goes, and wishes to fill the world with these grounds.

What's she doing? Well, painting, of course! But not with just any paint. Iris uses paint that she makes herself, generally with berries. The young artist hopes to earn a reputation and inspire an appreciation for nature in people with the massive project she's working on. "A Piece of Nature," Iris calls her pride and joy. It's a collection of paintings featuring various scenes of the forest which she's somehow making all fit together--all done with her special, natural paint. Iris spends hours each day in the forest, collecting ingredients for her paint or just sitting in a spot to work.

xxxxxthe natural beauty of the forest. the lady is a common
xxxxxvisitor to the woods, and for a few reasons as well. one
xxxxxof those reasons is to tend to her lovely "garden" by a
xxxxxstream located somewhere within the forest! mostly
xxxxxduring the spring and summer times, lucciola visits the
xxxxx"garden" to make sure everything is looking good-- or
xxxxxat least that's what she tells officials when they get
xxxxxsuspicious of her.

xxxxxwhy does she visit this "garden"? well, the answer is
xxxxxsimple: to catch fireflies. lucciola often is secretly
xxxxxselling fireflies to various people. now, she does this
xxxxxin secret because well-- the act is illegal in her realm,
xxxxxoddly. although, this works perfectly fine with lucciola--
xxxxxtrafficking fireflies is a real easy way to earn herself

Clove is currently trying to make a secret underground community under the forest floor full of working gnomes! She hopes that with their stubborn, loyal, and determined attitude that they will be able to do things that most creatures in the forest can't do, such as mining for copper, gold, ore, and many other minerals. With their more sophisticated mindsets, they could also help keep out intruders and serve as little warriors! The underground tunnels would have an armory with a set of "weapons" that looks like everyday gardening tools. Many of the gnomes would serve as 'spies' and sit in people's yards and pretend to be a pretty decoration, when really they're protecting their land. (And maybe stealing a few crops + flowers every now and then.)
