- res with phantom power and ludicrous speed or my songs know what you did in the dark
There's a dark part of town where the girls get down
And I cannot wait for a chance to go
Wait for a chance to go
I got my bad luck shoes and every excuse to dance these blues away
Ain't coming home
I ain't coming home
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
In a dusty room I come to assume
That I've been doomed to lose my mind tonight
Too weak to fight
So I tried to save face then I rest my case
The judge pulls me aside says c'est la vie
Let your darker side come out to feed
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
I commit the crime of wasting time
Always trying to rhyme, yes I am guilty
But don't misunderstand me
I admit defeat, then I move my feet
My history will never be repeated
I won't ever be repeated
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Shut up, shut up, shut up
Sit up, sit up, sit up, it's a kangaroo court
A kangaroo court
Hey, I'm Ambi. My real name is Ambrosia, but
please don't call me that! It makes me sound like a princess or
something...Anyways, I'm Ambi, and I'm sixteen years old. I am a
plumerian, obviously, and I love to dance! Dancing and music are
pretty much my life. Books and video games are okay I guess, but
I'm not really into that sort of thing. I started dancing
when I was four. My parents enrolled me in a class,
said it would be "good for my future." Well, at first I didn't really
like it. I got frustrated easily and couldn't get the moves down.
Then when I was five, we were in the park and there were a bunch
of people watching this one guy breakdancing near the fountain.
He was so awesome, and moved really fast and smooth. After
seeing that, I knew I wanted to continue. I started working harder
and over time, I got better. I practice every day, although its
more for fun then anything. My music blasts really loud in the house,
so I have to take it outside. There's more room and fresh air out
there anyways. So now I teach dance classes (hip hop, duh). Some
people might say I'm too young to teach it, but most people around
here know I'm the best. Not to brag or anything...okay, maybe
a little.

basing off of the song lane boy, specifically this verse
They think this thing is a highway
If it was our way
We'd have a tempo change every other time change
Cause our minds change on what we think is good
I wasn't raised in the hood
But I know a thing or two about pain and darkness
If it wasn't for this music, I don't know how I would've fought this
Regardless, all these songs I'm hearing are so heartless
Don't trust a perfect person and don't trust a song that's flawless
Honest, there's a few songs on this record that feel common
I'm in constant confrontation with what I want and what is poppin'
In the industry it seems to me that singles on the radio are currency
My creativity is on the free when I'm playin' shows
