Hey there Hiroko! I'm Akua, and I've been in love with Plumerians ever since awhile before they even hit #50! At first sight, I was a huge fan. Yet, still, I'm a non-owner. Past Personalities

Childhood
Ever since a very young age, Shira had always been one to stop and see if anyone needed a helping hand. If she saw someone struggling, she would always get up and go offer her assistance. Although, at this age, she had some ulterior motives to her at the time occassional kindness. While, for example, she would offer to help her mother with spring cleaning, she would expect that her mother would give her an extra snack or something later on that day. As she got older, her ulterior motives sloped downwards, and eventually became nonexistant.
In the past, young Shira used to be incredibly hyper, as if her brain were made up of jumping beans. She was constantly bouncing around, often leaving a trail of stress in her wake. See, she was extremely immature then, often whining and begging along with her stubborn streak. She was constantly begging, and often didn't listen until she got her way. She was quite a handful, and often left the heads of those supervising her spinning.
Far too curious, she would always wind up getting into trouble. Shira used to be constantly intruding on, or spying on, thr business of others -- otherwise, she would constantly pester them until they finally told her what was going on. She would relentlessly ask questions reguarding random matters, too. Shira also always wanted to cling to those she admired, often being an annoying little, loveable pest in the process.
All in all, if you were her babysitter... Well, I would not have wanted to be you!

Preteen
As she started getting a bit older, Shira's immaturity began to edge away at a very rapid pace. However, at this point, she still partially retained some of her old habits of youth. She still could be stubborn and pressing occassionally, and sometimes a bit too curious still. However, soon enough, even this all calmed down. She still retained an unpleasant trait of whining, however, for far different reasons. She began to start feeling quite sad, sometimes you could even say 'depressed,' and often this often affected her attitude. Instead of whining and begging, she would whine and complain about the tiniest details of her life, even those that barely held any influence on her. It was rather confusing when people tried to figure her out. During the latest of this short span of years, Shira already began to calm down, and start listening more. She started becoming less and less of that immature child that you would only be able to tolerate for so long.

By now, it was as if the original her had jumped off a cliff. Early on since her becoming a teen, Shira had started to become a bit quieter. A hint of shyness shades her now, although for the most part she is just being a very softly spoken individual. When she does have a moment of shyness, it isn't the most obvious thing, and tends to pass over quite quickly.
She, as time moved at a rapid pace, calmed down much, much faster. She began to take more time to relax, especially in the forest, as that was where she felt her soul found peace. Shira usually enjoys a good time of quiet serenity; however, she does still occasionally enjoy a bit of the fun life — all just innocent fun, such as an amusement park or some jokes — from time to time. When she decides to use it, Shira can have actually a very nice sense of humor.
Immaturity was replaced by a sense of maturity that's now superior to many. Often, Shira even thinks about her past behavior with shame and embarrassment. She now abides by, "the rules," so to say, quite diligently, unlike her former self. She now frequently guides others, and can be quite a good leader if her awkwardness stays out of the way, and everyone else is peaceful and cooperative.
Shira has become a perfectionist. She drives herself, and those around her, insane at times with how nitpicky she is over every single thing, and will do anything to try and fix whatever is wrong -- which, usually only makes said issue worse. She will constantly keep doing whatever she can, almost obsessively; sometimes, it even has to get to the point where someone has to interrupt.
She has become a bit awkward, and tends to get nervous quite easily. When nervous, or exceedingly awkward, Shira tends to stutter a lot. This awkwardness obviously only lowers her confidence. When nervous, she can become a bit tense, and occasionally will even snap; however, she apologizes dearly afterwards.
Shira is just a sweetheart by now. She is a bit of a softie by now, and quite the gentle soul. While she may have offered help in the past, now she is genuine. She's always there as a shoulder to lean on for those in need, and though she has faults, she is eternally compassionate and kindly.

"Oh, well, it's hard to choose just one! They're all just so beautiful. Well, except for really dark green. I used to be obsessed with it, but now, along with reminding me of my atrocious behavior, it also gives me the creeps! If I had to pick one for now...definitely indigo."

"Oi? Actually, it's brittish! No one usually asks, ahaha."

Do you go out with boys or girls?

"Erm, ah... I've never been on a date with anyone. I've never even had a crush... But being with someone of any gender would be nice. I really don't care. All genders are just so unique!"

"Me? I'm sixteen...I think."

"Oh, October 29th! I always have a nice party."

"Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. It's just such a sad story, it always gets to my heart!"

"Oh, definately tea! My favorite is pumpkin spice tea. When I was little, I would steal everyone's coffee. I was so childish, it pains me to think of it now...not to mention I hated coffee but felt like annoying people."

Who's the closest friend you ever had?

"Well, I've never really had any good friends yet. But if I had to pick one, I would say the forest! Okay, I know the forest isn't a living being... It's many of them! The forest always treats me kindly."

Do you like to sing?

"I love to sing, when I'm alone, but I always end up criticizing myself about it. One song I sing good is Team."

What's your favorite animal?

"Oh, definitely Dendroica petechia. And by the way, I prefer to call animals by their scientific names; I think they are so elegant!"

What's your least favorite song?

"Fancy. It gets stuck in my head way to easily, and she is definitely not fancy!"

Do you hate dogs?

"Um, no... I wouldn't say I hate them... I just don't like them, and I'm very afraid of them!"

Do you have any languages you consider special?

"While French is one of my favorite languages... Latin has always been special to me."

Do you have a motto, or catchphrase?

"Well, I always think and go by; 'Vivere amo!' It means, in latin, 'I love life.'"

To you, is world peace attainable?

"Well, it depends on what you mean by "peace." I do very much believe that it's possible... But would you really want to live in the world that would be all peaceful? The only way I can see it being possible is if... Well... Everyone left each other be. No communication. Everyone just lives their own daily lives, with no interaction what so ever. Now, think about it -- is that really a world we'd want to be in?"

Your opinions on best and worst qualities in a person?

"Hm, well... It really depends. You can have two completely different people with similar qualities, right? But if I have do specifically pick, my favorite quality in a person would have to be a good, pure heart. I know, I know. Cheesy. But, it's true. You can seem as mean, rude, and nasty as anything on the outside. That doesn't make you a bad hearted being. In fact, if your intentions are definitive how you go about them really doesn't matter. You can be apparently nice, but also just not a good person, if it makes sense. I would rather have a true hearted friend who I fight with and have static with all the time than one who I seem to get along smoothly with, and be sorry later. Also, I would hate to be around someone like the younger me for too long. I like to be able to know that there is depth to someone's mind, honestly, and as someone who was once embarrassingly childish, I know that if you're like that... There just isn't that side to you, not yet at least."

Is there anything special you wish to achieve?

"Well... I would love to try something out of my comfort zone for once, like maybe a really loud party. I know I probably won't enjoy it; but you only live once, right? I want to do as much as I can with my life. I would also love to write some stories, and get my name kind of out there, but definately not directly in the spotlight. But most of all, I really just really want to fall in love, as corny as that may be. And, honestly, I just want to do the most with my life that I can. If I focus too much on a few select things... How can I enjoy life to the fullest?"

So, what are your fears?

"I have quite a few, acctually; I am deathly afraid of cliffs and heights! I've gone into panic attacks in the past, and this fear is so extreme that I pray I can eventually overcome it. I have a bit of stage fright, aswell, but hope to eventuakky defeat this fear. Also, I have a kind of embarassing fear...dying alone... But, atleast itss not as embarassing as my fear or earthworms! I just... I feel like they'll grow teeth and bite me whenever I see one. I know, I know, it's a bit dumb...but when I see them, they're just so... Terrifying..."

How could you see yourself perfectly happy?
"Well, I... I don't. Because I don't know. I don't like to think about anything apparently perfect; I would rather live a life of many faults with moments of happiness, than be in this idealistic concept. Who would want to be perfectly happy all the time? The terrors, the sadness, the rage... Those are all things that make happiness special and feel nice. Life is nice, even if aweful -- you're alive. So, I guess, if I had to answer? I'd just say; vivo."
