Equid's name:Faylin
History:"Faylin, remember this: Trust and love who you care for and hate no one." Faylin's eyes fluttered open from a light slumber to see...black. She could not see. It didn't matter though. It had always been like that, ever since she was born. She had been used for an experiment to see if her eye nerves would develop if they covered her eyes from when she was born to her 3 summer. They didn't. Her eyes were still yellow pigmented but the nerves didn't tell her brain what she was seeeing. But all would change.
This was the year 1243, and finally, FINALLY, they had found a way of how to develop her eye nerves fully. She would see! She would run without tripping, see her parents, see her own coloring, and see all that she had missed before.
Today was the day. Today she was getting the missing part from her eye nerves from a resently dead Mountain Equid. Nothing would have made her happier. Nothing would have made her more nervous either. As she clopped down the hallway in-between the closed operation stalls beads of nervous tears ran down her cheek bones to plummet down her muzzle, her blind eyes flicked back and forth as if trying to find a "visible" escape, and she felt as if she could hear just THAT much louder.
Finally the stablehand who had been guidding her halted. Faylin slowly moved her head back and forth in a final attempt to calm herself and followed the halter's tug as the stablehand pulled her into the surgery room. A person smelling of meds and plastic gloves pushed a thin object into her skin and liquid slowly filled her veins. Faylin's eyelids slowly pulled down and her heartbeat decreased. She locked her legs and bent her head down.
Then. (suddenly) Nothing (happened). (but it happened suddenly XD kidding)
Coldness. Blackness. OH!! Warmth!! Light?! White...walls? eurrhhh....People! White coats, happy grins, smiling faces. Faylin could see. Would it be worth it? Are there things eyes let you see, you wish you hadn't? Only time would tell. Or not.
