I got more ink today, so I am writing. It was expensive, but I got it.

These wings are the worst. They get in the way of everything. My sewing. My day. Everything. I smacked more than three today. They all looked annoyed. Then I ruined a work in progress dress, ripping its seams. It was for a noble! The other seamstresses almost burned me with their glares.

"Burnet. You're excused for the day." My mentor had said. My face had burned with shame. I walked out, wait. More like ran. Leaving my little needle on the ground. It hardly fell with a clang.

I am sorry. It tis time for supper. And I do not want to write anymore.

More like gods-cursed.

They all say it. When I walk by on the streets. When I pay for pastries from Miss Ty. They watch. They speak.. They gossip.

I have learned to cover my wings. I use the extra cloth from the seamstresses, the pieces that are far far gone. I pratice my sewing and make a cloak like thing.

It sort of works.

The ones who know me know what I am hiding. But at least they do not stare.

A priest came in today. He yelled about, looking for the 'gods-blessed one'. Saying that I was a gods-send.

I hid.

But they found me. He paid the seamstresses in gold. Gold! As if I was something to be bought!

They had me pack. I was going to run. But the priest's followers caught me. I do not know what to do. Miss Ty tried to help me escape. But it was no use. I was afeared that she may not get any customers on the morrow. So I stayed put, I do not want to jeopardize the only person who cares for me. For me. Not just these gods-cursed wings!

I am sorry for not writing. The priest took my book away until I 'acted like a proper young lady of worship.'

It stinks here. They want a vision from the gods. But I have told them, I am not a gods-send. They threaten me.

I am now wondering why they want a vision so much, or some sort of message.
