What is her relationship with plants?

Magnolia has always loved plants, and spends a good portion of her time tending them. Not that most of the plants in her environment need help, but every once in a while she finds a flower that was trampled or a bush with yellowing leaves. These she lavishes with all of her attention until they are well again. She gently strokes their leaves while she sings a soft song to them, a song she generally makes up as she goes, but usually tells the plant of the joys of spring and summer, about the smell of the air after a rain, about the feeling of the warm sun on her fur. Without fail, the plants perk up and seem to hear her, or so she believes, and grow strong and healthy again. There is one plant in her living quarters that holds a special place in her heart. When she was sick, a friend who knew her love for flowers brought her the budding branch of a Magnolia tree, for which she was named. She was delighted and doted on the branch with its soft buds just waiting to open. She stood the branch up in the dirt in her den, where a beam of sunlight shafted down through a hole in the ceiling far above. After many months she noticed that the branch was actually growing taller! The buds opened, revealing large, beautiful white flowers that smelled wonderful. The branch became a graft for a new tree, and grew tall enough that Magnolia could eventually climb into its branches and daydream, which is what she enjoys doing most of all.

Mau loves plants. She's a forest child. One day, in her past she stumbled upon a lonely blue rose in the middle of a Forest Circle. Legends say the only the chosen few could ever see this rose and all its beauty. This day changed her life forever. Her eyes were open, she could see all of the beauty and delicacy of nature. She felt the breath of the woodlands run through her, the heart of the forest was now within her. She is the guardian of the forest and will protect the woods and its inhabitants with all her soul. Her and the plants are a unified force, if anyone hurts the forest they in-turn harm Mau. She will stay in the forests until the end of time, working with the sprites in order to preserve its secrets.
