-Merlyn lives on a small ocean surrounded island where technology has barely reached them as the tribe/clan he lives in does not take to those ways, they live off the land and what power that can cultivated from the resources they have on hand. It's a very traditional culture.
-Grew up as an only child with strict parents
-Travels to the mainland from time to time
-He loves his home and the peace that is provides, but he seeks to live a different way with technology and the open mind of the mainland where he'd be able to take up the career of theater. Ever since a young child Merlyn found himself craving the attention he gained from putting on shows for the few kids in his class, but the flamboyant ways he would dress for costumes or act like he was using technology or going against the ways of the tribe/clan it was quickly stuffed under everything else by his parents.

Other: Pukai lives in a heavily urban area near the coast, a large city that has adopted kalons easily into their infrastructure. She has a fascination with plants and nature, and especially succulents and corals. A naturally good swimmer, Pukai has a deep pond in her back garden full of underwater flora and fauna that she cares for. She really likes betta fish. And, for some reason, adores frogs too. She hates crabs though. No. No crabs for Pukai.

Niera woke up with a sigh as she ran her fingers through her pastel hair that she got done earlier this week. As she sat up, she groggily reached over for her favorite hair tie with a small seashell on it to tie her hair up. When that was done, she stood herself up and let out another sigh. Day 1 of her first side job, so far so good. She had gotten a job as a waitress because of how pretty she was, but Niera was never really good at facing people. Nevertheless, taking orders.

Slipping herself into her work uniform and accessorized with another necklace with a seashell on it. Luckily for her, the restaurant she will be working at is ocean themed, so she already looks the part, especially with how her tail is. It's funny to her, because little kids come up to her and ask if she's a mermaid, but she actually hates oceans. Straightening out her outfit, Niera popped a piece of strawberry gum into her mouth and yawned as she got into her pink Corvette, equipped with a pink interior. Wonder how she afforded it? It's quite simple.

As she arrived at the restaurant, she found a parking space and huffed while getting out. There were people crowded everywhere but it was pretty self-explanatory. The famous Niera Raix was in town, and working!! Famous, you say? Oh, Niera is just a pop-star from a small town, but she's pretty cool. Niera doesn't like to flaunt her fame so she rather settle on a side-job than make her fame a career. Smiling at the cameras, Niera made her way inside and looked at the decor, and wow, it was amazing. Time to start!
