Matrice got his nickname from an ex who he still talks to. Although he rarely got called that, everyone else started
calling him it because they thought that it fit his personality perfectly. Some people joked that matri was in his name,
but he took it as a joke. A few friends call him Matt as well, and he has one friend who calls him Ricester. But his favorite
nickname of them all is Snowstorm because it means a lot to him.

During thanksgiving, he was together with his friends picking out turkeys. He saw the brand Butterball turkeys and thought they were turkeys made out of entirely butter, so when he sat down the eat the "butter turkey" he took one bite and yelped, "Hey! This isn't butter!" His friends laughed and now they call him Buterball.

how they got it;; Her friends were already considering calling her the name of the main Hunger Games main protagonist for rather obvious reasons, but when they heard she liked archery, they had begun to call her that instead of her real name. She wasn't one to really read books or watch any movies, so she'd never watched/read the Hunger Games series and therefore was very confused when she was being called Katniss. She gets pretty annoyed with her friends for calling her that, but she still cares for her friends very much.
