✧・゚ name: sara castula
(sara meaning princess ; castula meaning pure)
✧・゚ gender/pronouns: female (she/her)
✧・゚ is she a good witch or a bad witch?:
she's a bit young and inexperienced, and she's still trying to figure out if she'll use her spells and
enchantments for good or bad. for now, she considers herself neutral, neither good or bad.
sara can be a little tricky sometimes, and she loves pranking others with harmless spells.
you can get a good laugh out of that every once in a while. sara includes a lot of singing while
she casts her spells, she thinks it makes spells more effective and less likely to backfire,
but who knows? most of the time she has good intentions and never means to really hurt anyone.
✧・゚ their favorite spell:
the moth spell
no, it doesn't turn you into a moth and make you sprout wings and antennas and
have you fly around hopelessly, instead it gives you a temporary glitter
in your hair for twenty-four hours, just like on a moth's wings.
oh but that's not all, of course. the spell is said to make your eyes light up just
a bit brighter than they usually do, and in the dark you can see the faint glow of
your eyes in the mirror, but this is rare and doesn't happen often.
in order to make this work, you'd need:
-a pair of moth wings
-rose petals
-a strand of your own hair (just a tiny bit though, not too much)
-gold powder (sara uses glitter because she's cheap -- works the same)
you boil all the items together in water fetched from a river, and stir for
twenty minutes while singing or humming the words of an song
(nobody really knows what specific song, but you can substitute any),
and after stirring you must let the mixture cool for five minutes.
after doing so, you take the water and wash your hair with
it, and then dry and brush your hair. you'll get results in about two hours
exactly.
after the spell wears off, your hair is left looking all shabby and dirty
for another twenty-four hours, but then it's left looking normal again.
sara only uses this spell every once in a while, for special occasions only,
just to make her hair look nicer and not have to go through the whole
washing and cleaning ritual to make her hair look nice. she does get a
lot of compliments about her hair, and every once in a while about her eyes
when she uses the spell.
she gets upset about her hair after she uses the spell, but her hair is almost
always messy (therefore she likes to brush it a lot) and sara doesn't notice when
the after-effect comes or goes.

name: Pollux (Polly)
gender/pronouns: transgirl - she/her
is (he/she/they/xey/ect.) a good witch or a bad witch:
Polly is a bad witch to an extent, using love potions to get her way and then breaking the hearts of many - leaving her with several lovesick kalons at her disposal. She considers herself a good witch, however, because she sells "needed" potions to people for cheap.
their favorite spell: the tempestatis spell
Pollux's favorite spell is to conjure up small personal storms for those who do her wrong. The storms aren't so much harmful as annoying and a way to really rain on someone's parade. The lightening that occurs from the storm feels like a shock from static electricity and isn't really painful. The spell is her favorite because it gives her the satisfaction of revenge without having to hurt anyone for it.
To create the spell a witch would need: three drops of their own blood, dry ice, mistletoe berries, four cups of water from a running spring, a heat source, their wand, and - of course - someone in mind to afflict with the spell. The witch must chant a simple Latin phrase six times, while thinking of the person they wish to afflict. The ingredients should be mixed together over the heat source, and then poured over the wand. All that's left to do after that is wave the wand and watch the magic happen!

name: Lucinda
gender/pronouns: she/her
is (he/she/they/xey/ect.) a good witch or a bad witch: Lucinda is a good witch, though she does enjoy casting spooky spells on other kalons. She loves to pull pranks on everbody, especially on Halloween. She's one of those kalons who go full on out on Halloween decorations. (Including a blow up haunted mansion)
their favorite spell:
Lucinda loves to make random objects move around. This was one of her first spells she learned, so she always would hide somewhere and make furniture float out of the blue.

female (she/her)
is (he/she/they/xey/ect.) a good witch or a bad witch:
she is a good witch, but Luna is quick to start using harmful spells.
their favorite spell:
Rulious
this is Luna's favorite spell because it helps her against danger without harming the person who the spell is aimed at- or at least doesn't hurt too much. when the spell is casted and hits someone, an invisible force tugs them into the air by their scruff.
you can make the spell with the rare ingredients such as a pheonix feather, a unicorn hair, a small rope, and a potion of luck (which has its own troubles of making) then once you have gathered those ingredients put them in a small cauldron. you first pour in the potion of luck, then add the unicorn hair and stir clockwise for two minutes, it should be a dark shade of purple before you add the pheonix feather. once adding the pheonix feather stir clockwise for another 2 minutes for it to turn to a bright green. then add the rope to the cauldron, and stir it for 30 seconds. after you have followed those steps it should be a dark red color and there should be bubbles forming at the top. you should be able to fill a few vials with it to keep with you

gender/pronouns: She/Her
is (he/she/they/xey/ect.) a good witch or a bad witch: Good witch! Since witches have a bit of a bad rep, Alcyone is trying to reinvent that prejudice. Unfortunately, that's a huge undertaking, and a troublesome task to take in alone. Maybe if she had some friends to give her a hand, people would see witches aren't so bad. Well, not all of them...
their favorite spell: Kizia Falcum (Put whipped cream on the pumpkin pie!) Why would someone eat pumpkin pie without it? Just...why?!

she's a female witchy alright
is she a good witch or a bad witch:
well, I don't know! is downright MENTAL considered bad or good?! someone told me that a troubled young kalon girl resided here in this tent, but when I enter all I find is a complete mess and no little girl anywhere! instead, I see a twitching (might I add NOT A LITTLE GIRL) witch kalon cluttering any open space around her with sparkly dust and glowing liquid. I saw a book somewhere lying on the floor too, before it was covered by some foggy smoke, and it just looked like a sketch of a big stickman and an arrow pointing from it towards a smaller stickman, nothing too incriminating . . . it appeared like harmless doodles―
SHE'S SPOTTED ME
she's coming, oh no this is the end for me―
oh. she just wanted me to hold her hat for her . . .
I wonder what she's doing now . . . probably something insanely crazy for sure . . .
her favorite spell:
AHHHH I CAN'T SEE
ok, a puff of rather odd smelling smoke just erupted out of nowhere and I feel bad because I dropped her hat and it's flown off somewhere out the tent now. oh dear, I hope she won't get mad I've lost her hat. wait, where is she anyway―
IS THAT HER?! did jem turn herself into a younger version of herself?!
what the―
THAT'S WHAT THOSE DOODLES IN HER SKETCH BOOK MEAN
where is that book? . . . h-hey don't go venturing out of here! don't you move! sit! . . . now that jem's turned herself into a little girl kalon this must've been what she was doing before and that's why people thought they saw a troubled―
HEY DON'T TOUCH THAT!
what a handful! . . . ah-ha! here's the book! . . . it says this spell is called GNUOY . . .
well, what d-yah know! it's young spelled backwards! my my my, what a creatively crazy witch we have here . . .

username: cosmosfox // name: Chandra // gender/pronouns: female (she/her)∙ * ✧ ∙ * ∙ ☆ ∙ * ∙ ✧ * ∙is she a good witch or a bad witch:
Bad witch all the way. Chandra will not hesitate to use her magic to inconvenience others in order to achieve her goals. A big part of her most-used spells are hexes and curses ranging from small annoyances to life-changing, malicious disasters. Chandra's reasoning for her actions is pretty simple: she has this marvellous power, so why not use it to make her life easier?
their favorite spell:
You can find out a lot about a person by observing their dreams - dreams are, after all, the direct result of our unconscious mind. "The spell for stealing dreams" is Chandra's favourite spell because it is an inconspicuous way of gathering someone's dreams to use as spell ingredients or to simply observe them. This is a simple but effective spell, and the harvested dreams can be stored for a long time neatly in a glass jar.
☆ the spell for stealing dreams ☆
- one part bay leaves
- one part mugwort
- one part rosemary
- marigold petals
- quartz crystal
Mix all the ingredients in a glass jar and put the quartz crystal on top of the herbs.
Let the jar sit in moonlight for one night to charge.
Place the jar in the same room as the person whose dreams you want to gather.
Wait until the person falls asleep and wakes up again. Retrieve the jar.
Seal the jar with a lid and store in a dark place.
The person's dreams are now safely sealed in the jar, and can be either observed through the glass
or used for other spells.
