Name: Flora
Gender: Female
Reason behind the costume(The flower):
Flora is an exuberant and playful creature, she loves running through the forest with Saba and Momma Pie, collecting all the things to make their dinner, herbs for healing, and flowers to make the house look pretty. Occasionally they would pass through town, and on this particular occasion there happened to be a traveling merchant, he was a kind visect with a taste for strange things, and when he spotted Flora he immediately spoke to Pie, who often traded strange finds from the forest to him for things like spices and fabrics. Pie, who saw what he was speaking of instantly agreed, Flora HAD to have it! And momma Pie would make sure she did.
She smiled at the merchant and passed him some strange yet delicate flowers that Flora found not two days before, the child had the gift for growing things, a very useful magic inside the forest. The merchant was more than happy with the find, as he'd never seen flowers so beautiful nor so healthy after being picked, and so he bent down on one knee and with a wide smile pulled the beautifully crafted back pack out from behind his back. And Flora squeeled in dellight. It looked just like her markings! She loved the color and how delicate it looked, but when she tired it on, she found that it was incredibly tough and felt smooth and silky against her back. Why, she could carry dozens of seeds packets in it, and even small plants! She was so very excited, but still managed to thank the male, with an exuberent hug, and ran off to find Saba to show off her new flowerpack, vowing she would never take it off.
Friend story:
Flora growled, angry for the moment, staring up at the strange plants just above her head. She was too little to reach them, and couldn't find anything to prop up against the tree to get to them. They called to her, and she didnt know what, she wasn't sure what they were meant to do, only that she needed to get them, and her small stature denied that demand.
Sighing, she kicked a rock and sat down, pulling off her flowerpack and pulling out a tiny cask of water to drink. She glared, balefully, at the tree and the occupant that she so wanted, and grumbled to herself, sipping the warm water.
"What'cha doin'?' A voice asked softy behind her. She yelped, jumping from where she sat, water bottle going one way, pack going the other, spilling its contents. She whirled around and glared at Saba, who stood innocently where she'd snuck up behind her.
"Honestly Flora, I wasn't trying to scare you this time, its almost dinner time and Momma Pie wants us to come clean up," the brown and buff colored viscet said, already picking up the spilled pack and putting things carefully back into it.
"Well you did!" Flora finally said, her voice coming back slowly from her fright, which annoyed her a little too. "We need to put a bell on you, Momma's said so enough times," she muttered, picking up her now empty bottle. She took the pack from Saba and stuffed the bottle in, tying it closed.
"Please don't be mad," Saba said, sadly. She really hadn't meant to scare Flora, she was just in a hurry and forgot how frightened Flora could get. She'd only been with Pie and Saba for a short time and Saba wanted her to be the sister she never had, but for now they were the becoming the best of friends.
"I just can't reach that stupid plant is all," Flora softened, she knew Saba had a good heart and was never mean, so she couldn't stay mad, and beside sit wasn't saba she was mad at, it was herself for being too short.
"Well, how about I boost you up and you grab it so we can get home before Momma Pie sends out a search party?" Saba offered.
Immediately the two set the plan into motion, and had anyone come along it would have been quiet comical seeing two little visects stacked on top of each other trying to get to plant. But get it they did, and after Flora stuffed it into her pack, they raced home just in the nick of time, as Momma Pie was just sticking her head out to call them.
