What do they think about fish?

They're basically married to fish.

Kolenya has had a weird obsession with fish ever since they knew what fish were
and due to a lot of fish talk,
it was the first word they said.
They started to go on fishing trips,
and played with the fish before letting them go.
Their obsession grew and grew,
and they started to wear them.
and soon to the point that they wanted to wear a dress covered in fish.
When people asked why,
they simply replied,
"Lady GaGa wore a meat dress,
so why can't I wear a fish dress?"
Soon Kolenya was in roles for therapy lessons,
but they didn't help their obsession,
and they continue to want to wear the small creatures as a dress.

Kolenya had a wedding to marry the fish on their collar,
but it was cancel due to their parents disapproval.

What do they think about fish? Many think she loves fishes. After all, she carries fishtank accessories, and she has a boat's wheel as her shine, for kalon's sake! Of course she likes fish! Others think she must hate fish. She had no choice, born with a shine like that and having parents who are obsessive fish owners.
Delta prefers no one knows what she thinks about fish. Because it's a lot more crazy than what others think. She wants to be a fish. Be. Not wants to eat, or wants to be friends, or whatever. A fish's life seemed s crazy carefree and relaxing, and she hopes she has a life like that. Yeah, there's predators, but still, swimming with your friends and just...swimming, it's what she really wants in her chaotic life.

What do they think about fish?
ensign could really care less. sure,
she keeps a couple, but all they
really do is swim around in circles.
when she was younger ensign was
an avid fish trainer, teaching them
to jump through hoops and the like
but now she just treats them like
most other animals.

What do they think about fish?
Denver hates fish, which is unfortunate since she grew up in a small fishing town on the coast of Maine. Her first pet was a fish, given to her by her grandmother. Her first job was cleaning fish before they could be sold. There was nowhere to turn in the small fishing town that wouldn't end up in seeing one or more fish.

In Denver's opinion fish are way too slimy and wriggly. They swim odd, and there are some pretty strange ones. Minnows aren't a problem, but when it gets to big or dangerous that's when Denver starts to hate them. Goldfish? Fine, but koi? Now koi are just out of the question. Knife fish sound far too threatening for Denver to ever want to see, and archer archerfish are far too spitty. Hatchetfish, while quite small and harmless, also sound too threatening for Denver to ever be able to like.

Denver has lived in the small Maine fishing village her entire life. She lived with her grandmother in a small cabin right by the shore. Their shore below them is rocky, with a small dock one can go swimming or fishing off of. A small sailboat sits on the end, and in cracked worn paint in the side is spelled The Essence. Denver's grandmother made the boat in her 30s, on the same beach the dock it sits by reaches off of. Early in the morning Denver or her grandmother will go out fishing, and then they separate the catches into their meals and ones to sell. No one knows what's in Denver's family's bait, and fishermen have been asking for decades, but it's a family secret.

The fish to be sold, and even to be eaten later, are set in tanks. This keeps them as fresh as possible. The ones that will be sold though, are more crowded. Denver runs them out to the store, greeting the small town residents as she sees them. She knows everyone in the town, and everyone in the town knows her. It's a small town, so no one really has a choice.

Polite banter can be heard from the store from kalons trying to get prices that benefit them. The store owner and Denver are good friends, often teasing and exchanging small arguments. Denver thinks of him like a father.

Denvers own parents live elsewhere, and apart, but her grandmother is much like her mother could've been.

Denver dreams of getting out of the small town, or a least running a store that has as little as possible to do with fish.
