Gallifrey is a ghost hunter spending her nights finding and capturing ghosts with her ‘homemade’ ghost hunting equipment.

Creative and unique Gallifrey has a different mindset than other people, where someone sees a patch of grass she sees a fairy world or a ghost in hiding. There is no limitation to her creativity, thus new ideas form regularly.
Sweet and able to charm a crowd Gallifrey loves to be around people, and even more so she loves to hear them laugh or see them smile. She takes joy out of it more than most other things, especially with children.
Extremely hardworking and observant she takes the time to look at everything and find every detail about it. This dedication is helpful in her career, yet hard when trying to focus on something specific in a new environment.
Although she has chosen the life of chasing ghosts, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t get terrified doing her job. Every time she faces a new ghost it sends chills down her spine, and with some she might end up frozen with terror.
Talkative and blunt, she blurts out everything that comes to mind. This mostly when she is nervous or afraid, but she is still quite talkative on a regular basis. Most of what comes out of her mouth when afraid sounds like playful banter or senseless humor, but it’s just her way of trying to distract herself from her fear.

her name is thalassa shasta merriwether and her forename means "the sea", and she loves it to pieces, as she does love listening to the sounds of the sea while she works.

thalassa is relatively simplistic in character. she's a calm, gentle soul who often appears like she's miles away simply staring into the distance, but that's just her being a little spacey, however she can usually ground herself to be serious when necessary. she's a pleasant force who strives to keep everyone happy, and she's a loving figure.


by day she's a detective, but at night...and sometimes when she's not at work, thalassa loves to dance as a hobby.

Serenity has no problem talking to people. It is very rare that she does, and when she does, she usually rubs it off and tries to come up with some sort of conversation. You could even say she is a slight show off, although she doesn't mean to be! She just gets very excited sometimes. But whenever she is doing magic tricks, she keeps her composure. Never has she once lost it on stage.

I'm sure you all don't have a lot of time to read this, so I'll try to shorten it up a bit. It was a cold blustery night, and my parents and I were on our way home from a movie. Being an only child, I got to do stuff like that a lot. We were walking down the sidewalk in the city when we were stopped by a small crowd of around twenty or so people. They were all looking at something. Or someone. "Mom, what are they looking at?" My little six year-old self had asked her. She had only shrugged and told me she didn't know. I wanted to go see, so my father was the one who gave in and we made our way to the front of the crowd.

There was a Plumie in a black cape and a black hat with a red stripe on it standing in front of the crowd. It was one of those street magicians, that wowed you as you walked past. He was asking for a volunteer. A few people raised there paws, but instead, he pointed to me. "How about you, little girl?" I nodded excitedly and walked up in front of everyone. After pulling a few coins out of my ears (which amazed me at the time) he held out a deck of cards in front of me. He couldn't see them, and told me to pick a card. I did, then he shuffled the cards and flicked through them, searching for mine. At last he held out a seven of spades. My card! I was astounded, and I asked him how he did it as people began to walk away. He leaned in close and told me that 'A magician never reveals his secret.'

Cliche, am I right? But it was so mysterious and from then on, I was obsessed with learning magic tricks. My parents got me a little magic kit for my seventh birthday, and I would spend hours on end practicing in my room. I mastered the tricks and put on shows for my parents. I pursued a career in magic, much to my parents dismay. They knew I was good, but were worried that I wouldn't be able to sustain myself on such a career. Yet here I am, a nationwide famous magician. I may have started small, but I worked hard, and know I'm traveling all over the country to do magic shows! But I always come back home. To my friends and to be near my family. They're proud of me, and that makes me happy.
