Since hes from a dream I wanted a text that was soft yet whimsical and not to far from basic writing we use on a day to day basis.
I also something that had those lovely swirls like on his fur yet not enough to over power the softness of those swirls.
But yet I wanted this text to look foreign something that would make your brain look and think for just a moment before it became sure what they said. Something it could easily enough project onto another place or even imagine the place it came from without asking.

Why this font?: Oh no! Please do forgive Ciel! He's always making my fonts artistic! I was going to choose a simple, clean cut font...but this silly boy has gone and done it again. He's always doing this!** Ciel, as you can tell, is a very artistic boy. The silly thing is always doing this. On my homework, on my stories...even on my art. He has a flair, you see. A flair to express himself through words. He loves words, especially decorated fonts. He adores the look of scribbled in fonts, so I guess he decided to doll up my font. I can't control him! He's just so creative, and artistic. Sometimes I don't know what I'll do with him! But, I love his pretty blue colors and his design. He's quite a beauty, no? He certainly thinks so. He'll spend hours on my computer typing his name in different fonts. He loves to draw, and especially doodling. He'll sit on my lap >>he thinks he's still a baby...he's around the size of a border collie now<< and doodle on my hands with >>always<< a blue magic marker. There are doodles of himself and of crazy random letters all around my house. But I still love him!

But what is that wonderful font called?
Why, it's from Fontmeme and it's called 'portal'. Of course, it resembles the font of his favorite game, Portal~ <3


But how does this font represent him? Well, first of all, it's mostly because his favorite video game is Portal. But, it also is very neat and simple. These are two different traits he exhibits in his daily life. Another hobby of his is writing, in which she uses a neat and refined writing skill. Very beautiful indeed, although it is very simple. Much like his life in general. Normally you can find him either playing Portal, smiling whenever the font pops up, or you can find him writing pieces in this exact same font. Yep, he indeed has to remain neat, as mentioned
many times before in here.


And just a side note, his name means "dark water".

When I first saw this jbd and read about your dream, it made me think of a picture that I saw earlier in the day. During art class I was searching the Internet for a typography idea and I came across the Dreamworks logo. This is what she reminded me of, so that somehow led to Deluxe.

Light as the Milky Way and with laughter to match, Lux is a minor space cadet at times. She always keeps an upbeat attitude and has a smile for everyone. She is the epitome of peppy and is an actor in the movie business. Although she is genuinely a happy bean, she can act so well that you can't even tell when she is!
