Pokemon being used/link: Phonetic (#422)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (117 words)
Phonetic is a strange Pokemon. It never talks, and instead, watches. In fact, many pokemon of the Terrarium say it watches too much. If you’ve done something- anything, some say- it’s likely it saw you do it.
Despite its quiet and watchful nature, it seems to at least be friendly. Though a conversation will get you nowhere, it enjoys seeing others around and interacting with it. This especially goes if you are a younger Pokemon, as it loves to play with and entertain the children of the Terrarium. It even has a daughter of its own, who it genuinely adores.
The only time Phonetic would turn any Pokemon away is if they asked it certain questions. Huh…

Pokemon being used/link: Buzz (OM#361)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (122 words)
Naturally sarcastic and exasperated, some people might wonder how Buzz even has friends. He’s cautious and hesitant, and this often shows itself through his somewhat cold demeanor. He’s never intentionally mean or cruel, but unfortunately, sometimes he can accidentally upset people with his usual sarcastic nature. He has enough decency to apologize, of course, but also tends to become more avoidant of those he upsets for a while.
There is only one exception to this, and that is his beloved boyfriend Swirly. Buzz seems like an entirely different kitten around him and is content to play along with his antics. Buzz can also be immensely protective of Swirly at times, so if you wrong him, you’ll likely get a certain kitten’s claws.

Pokemon being used/link: iCy (#348)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (105 words)
iCy is an extremely curious Elgyem. She’s a strong believer that in every little situation, there’s a mystery to be solved. And who’s gonna solve that mystery if she doesn’t? So, she often dedicates herself to “detective work,” which could be from attempting to discover the littlest things to things like the meaning of life. She doesn’t like to be interrupted from this work, but she will gladly accept help from anybody that offers it. Just don’t expect too many breaks, because iCy is way too dedicated for her own good and will not quit until she either has an answer or is forced to.

Pokemon being used/link: Swirly (OM#362)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (122 words)
Swirly is an extremely playful and energetic Litten. He often likes to play and act out what he is currently hyperfixating on, and right now, that would be mad scientists. So, he adorns a lab coat and brightly-colored glasses that he refuses to take off, and makes “monsters” out of rocks and craft supplies. He will often try to rope you into his activities and playtime, and gets sad if you decline.
He is just as playful with his boyfriend, Buzz, and sometimes refuses to play without him around. Swirly is very clingy towards Buzz to the point of being almost inseparable, and he is the third one he’d go to (after his parents) if there was trouble or he needed help.

Pokemon being used/link: Cheri (NB#090-1)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (121 words)
Cheri is a very friendly Trapinch. Though they have only recently just begun to walk with proficiency, they often love to approach others and get their attention in any way that they can. They love this attention so much that they hate to be alone, often wailing if there’s nobody in sight. Luckily for them, they’re never alone with their loving family. They are very attached to their family members and are often very loving to them. They show their love by following their family around and trying to mimic them. This has resulted in them becoming a bit of a biter thanks to the influence of their sister Fang, and becoming one of the members of her little friend group.

Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #12: Free For All (219 words)
Fang wrote:The dome that is all around us has always made me curious. It’s been here for as long as I can remember. My parents say it’s always been here, so that makes sense.
I’ve always wanted to see what was beyond that glass, but it’s strong. No matter how much I bite at it or try to break it, it won’t. I don’t understand why.
My mom says that there must be a reason that the dome is there, so I shouldn’t try to be breaking it. It doesn’t make a lot of sense to me why I shouldn’t, but I trust her.
My dad says that the Botanist made the dome. She slaved away with her hooves and antlers to make our home. I’m glad she did, but I wonder why. If only I could talk to her. I’ve never seen her, and everyone who has says she doesn’t talk. Does she ever get lonely?
I wanna find her. I’m gonna find her, and thank her for everything she’s done for us. She made our Terrarium, from the top of the trees to the bottom of the lake. She gave us somewhere to live. She deserves someone to talk to, right? Even a goddess must get lonely… I’m just a child, though.
It’s okay. I’ll figure it out.

Pokemon being used/link: Captain Spoons
Archive: https://toyhou.se/kafkaesque/characters/folder:3962720
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5: What is your Pokémon's Personality? (365 words)
Often preferring to be addressed as just "Captain" or "Spoons," regardless of familiarity, Captain Spoons has been the deputy of Space Hoppers for... However long it has been existed. While he would not be described as a tired worker who just wants to retire already, he also does not hold much enthusiasm for his job and appears to approach it through a day-to-day basis. He gets up, he gets to work, he does his work, he leaves his work. So on, so forth.

Like his superior Bentley, he is a relatively quiet individual and usually stays away from his coworkers, though it more so seems to be due to his duties than his personality. His position can be described more as a receptionist than an actual deputy, as he does the technical work behind the scenes while Bentley represents the face of the company... When both parties emerge from the shadows, of course... Or maybe just one of them emerging from the shadows. Captain Spoons is not close with Bentley and does not desire to get closer to him, primarily due to his concerns about the Chingling's inexperience in running such an ambitious enterprise. He supports his superior's ambitions but is equally uneasy about the temporal and spatial consequences of their duties, silently planning a gradual decrease in dimension-hopping once the majority of relevant dimensions have been recorded.

Captain Spoons is nonetheless a friendly individual in general, though he rarely speaks much. His smile can be described as "just a tiny bit unsettling at times," but that tends to be deemed affectionately. While he is busy and frequently bogged down by his work, he always appreciates others walking into his office for a chitchat, though he gets restless if someone wants to wreak havoc in that space. More importantly, however, Captain Spoons possesses a deep curiosity of the world around him and has been a staunch believer of the multiverse theory since his youth. As childish as the idea of finding different versions of him in different universes is, it appeals to him. Perhaps that is why he sticks through with the Space Hoppers to the end, despite everything about him that should indicate otherwise.

Pokemon being used/link: Bonnibel (DV#361)
Archive: The Terrarium
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (118 words)
Bonnibel, like her parent, can’t talk. However, unlike her parent, she doesn’t let that stop her from trying to make friends. She loves to interact and play with people and often goes out of her way to find lonely people to cheer up. She is a pure ball of love and joy, and she views everyone as her best friend until proven otherwise.
Despite her friendliness, many people are put off by her goopy, constantly-dripping form. She doesn’t really understand this, though, and becomes confused when they react in any way that isn’t the same love and joy she gives. Despite this, she has many friends and her parent that all love her just the way she is.

Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5- What is your Pokémons personality? (113 words)
Scotty, truth be told, is an anxious mess. Naturally shy and avoidant of everyone, it’s rare that you’ll even get to see them much. They spend most of their time in their underground burrow, making strange drawings on the walls that nobody really understands.
They seem to have a heavy sense of impending doom, something which has gotten more intense as they’ve gotten closer to evolving. They’ve been talking about the “God of Ice and Wind” recently, and a “war in the hidden wastelands.” If anybody bothers to listen to their ramblings, they’re forever grateful… But good luck trying to get them to stop talking about it at any point in the future.

Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #10- What is your pokemons full moveset and when did they learn them? (107 words)
Dig- Cheri learned to use Dig not long after hatching. They love to make little burrows and tunnels in the ground, and this made itself apparent quickly.
Sand Attack- Sand Attack was also learned by Cheri not long after hatching, as a consequence of kicking up sand whilst using Dig. This is rarely used by Cheri, though, only being used if they feel threatened.
Bite- Thanks to the influence of Fang, Cheri has recently learned to use Bite. Cheri is a very impressionable baby, so of course, they’d want to use Bite when they learned it! Unfortunately, like Fang, they like to use this to cause trouble.

Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #10- What is your pokemons full moveset and when did they learn them? (143 words)
Poison Fang- Fang was born with the ability to manipulate different types through her bites, partially thanks to her Seviper mother. Poison Fang was the first type she learned to use, not long after hatching.
Ice Fang- This move was learned from her father, who also was the other part of her learning to manipulate typings through her bites.. She also learned to use this quickly (and may or may not have accidentally frozen part of the lake once while she did).
Fire Fang- Fire Fang was a move that Fang learned to use somewhat later on. This was an accidental discovery, after SOMEHOW managing to eat an Ember. Yes, she got burned. Yes, she thinks this was worth it.
Thunder Fang- Like Fire Fang, this was accidentally discovered after eating a Spark. You’d think she’d learn after the first time, but no.

Pokemon being used/link: Bentley
Archive: https://toyhou.se/kafkaesque/characters/folder:3962720
Prompt: Unlimited Prompt #5: What is your Pokémon's Personality? (295 words)

Bentley is easily mistaken as a low-ranking member of the Space Hoppers due to his cutesy appearance and species — but, in fact, he is actually the founder of the organization and the corresponding “Butterfly Effect Principle.“ His occupation is something he holds with great pride, and disrespecting him is the quickest way to end up on the bad side of a normally relaxed organization.

What is surprising, however, is his mild-mannered demeanor and desire to stay back from the limelight, often preferring to let his underlings do most of the work for him. It is only during dire crises that he steps in, though not because of cowardice. He simply prefers to avoid drama much of the time, and he often spends his free time farming berries (the majority of which he gives to his employees for traveling purposes) and catching up on the latest innovations in travel through space-time through books and science journals. His employees joke about him being a nerd — and while Bentley does not join in with the jesting himself, he at least finds it flattering and encourages it when he goes down to interact with his subordinates.

Nonetheless, it is clear that Bentley always had some form of privilege. Stemming from a rich family, with a Magcargo father and Chimecho mother, he was lucky to receive the funding needed to establish the Space Hoppers at such a young age… And to reach such a high level so quickly. His inexperience as a leader colors his decisions and creates strife within his employees at times, but he always means well and is surprisingly altruistic for someone so high up the social ladder… If one wants to be optimistic and not believe he is patronizing and acting out of pity, of course.

Ringing in the New Year
Username + ID: dragoness129 + 3218
Pokemon being used/link: Shifara, the Fennekin [ She/them ]
Neko, the Meowgatito [He/Him]
Weedle [He/Him]
Archive: Here
Prompt:
1. What does this pokemon want to improve about themselves with the start of a new year? [can be done once per pokemon] (200 words or 1 fullbody art piece minimum)

Weedle | 202 words | wrote:Weedle crawled slowly up to the pond's edge. He moved so slowly, his legs were so tiny. Even when he dashed forward quickly, it seemed to be very slow. He peered into the water. "Small and tiny; weak and insignificant; funny looking" he heard the words of bullies echo in his head as he looked at his reflection. He took a few long moments, sitting in silence and getting lost in thought, eventually not even paying attention to his reflection but rather just staring off into space. Finally, he closed his eyes and shook away all the negative words. He opened his eyes, determined to be more positive. His resolution was to grow stronger. First, he would need to gain a lot more experience, then evolve into his next stage - Kakuna, then even more experience to reach his final form - Beedrill, then he would be big and strong. He would have so much independence and strength. He would be able to fly anywhere he wanted and use his stingers to defend himself. He smiled at the thought. The idea of getting stronger and evolving excited him. His goal would be to reach his final form by the end of the year.
Shifara | 307 words | wrote:Shifara wondered what her new year's resolution should be. She was not used to making resolutions or used to sticking to any that she made. Sure, there were a few things about her personality that other Pokemon had commented to her that she should try to work on changing. Though Shifara was not too worried about the opinions of those Pokemon. She would much rather follow her own path than try to change for someone else. She wondered what she might want to change about herself. She lost herself in thought for a while as she stood in front of her mirror, admiring herself. She was curious as to what a different color coat might look like. She knew there were some beauty salons around the regions that specialized in dying Pokemon fur as either a fashion statement or for contest halls. She wondered if she could convince her trainer that she was interested in changing her coat color. The next decision would be to figure out which color she wanted to try out. There was always black. It would give her more of a gothic feel to her appearance. She wondered if that would make her seem a bit like a cliche. She could try a purple shade since purple was her trainer's favorite color. She wondered if that would make her trainer notice her more and pick her more for battles so she could get even stronger. Though it did seem as if her trainer picked her for a lot of challenges as it was. She was very confident that her trainer loved her a lot. There was also blue. It could be something very different and unique to try. She shrugged. There was still plenty of time left to make a decision. It wasn't something that needed to be decided upon right this minute.
Neko | 259 words | wrote:Neko bounced around in excitement. This was his first new year! He could hardly contain his excitement. The energetic, young Meowgatito bounced around his trainer and his other Pokemon friends. He heard a lot of "calm down" that night. He barely paid attention when he was told about new years resolutions and how they were meant to be goals about what one wanted to change about oneself. He briefly wondered if there were something he should change about himself. He shook his head. Nope, he liked himself as he was. He still had plenty of time to grow and change as he got older. He figured he might try to make some resolutions to change whenever he was older. Whether that meant the next New Years, or ten New Years from now did not matter to the young Pokemon. He was sure it would come to him when the time was right. For now, he was just enjoying his time of youth. No matter how hard he tried, he knew he could not stay young forever. He paused in his jumping. Or could he? He wondered if that were something he could change about himself. Was it possible to stay young forever? He would look into this more some other time. Right now there was a sparkly ball dropping on the tv and the trainer was counting down to something. He tilted his furry head in curiosity as he observed both the events happening on the tv and his loving trainer, who seemed very excited over whatever it was.

2. How is your team enjoying the new layer of snow in heartcatch? Has it been a burden to overcome or have you made fun out of the sports and seasonal festivities. Or if they don't have snow in their area, what have they been doing for fun this winter/summer? (100 words minimum)
Shifara, Neko, and Weedle | 168 words | wrote:The snow has been making things very cold for Shifara the Fennekin, Neko the Meowth, and Weedle. Though never having seen snow before, they are very curious about what the white stuff is. Their trainer has bundled them up in warm attire: scarves, sweaters, hats, and mittens where applicable. After they are cozy in their garb, they head outside to taste and cautiously place a paw into it. A cold shiver runs through them. They can feel the cold even through the mittens. Their trainer begins showing them some of her favorite activities to do in the snow, first building a snowman, then laying down to make snow angels, followed by building a couple of snow forts and rolling snowballs for them all to toss around. The last, turns into more of a training activity, with the Pokemon trying to destroy the snowballs before they reach them. After spending a while having fun outside, the trainer takes them inside to treat them to warm cookies and hot cocoa.

3. There's a grand ice sculpting competition to celebrate the arrival of snow. How is your pokemon participating in this competition? [200 words min AND/OR sketchy colored fullbody w/ scene aspects]
Shifara, Neko, and Weedle | 303 words | wrote:Not being keen on the cold, all of the Pokemon were bundled up in scarfs, hats, sweaters, or whatever they were able to put on to keep warm while working on the ice. Shifara and Neko shared a knowing look. With their abilities, they would be able to shape the ice sculpture easily. They just needed to come up with an idea of what to sculpt. Weedle looked at the block of ice and tilted his head first to the left, then to the right. That was a good question. What should they sculpt? Themselves or their trainer? No, that would seem vain. An idea struck, an ice palace! That would be pretty epic! He shared the idea with the rest of the team. The two with claws mulled over the idea. It would be a tricky and big task to take on, but the outcome would be pretty epic if they could complete it. Keeping it supported while carving out the inside so that they and the judges could actually walk around inside of it would be a challenge, but they were up for trying it.

Shifara breathed a steady chain of fire to help hollow out the inside, being very careful not to melt too much of the ice at once. It would be easier to chip away finer details rather than replace the ice if too much of it were gone. She had to be careful of the placement too. Next, Neko came in with some furry cutters for shaping the walls, pillars, staircases, and all the neat decorations they made out of the ice to make it look extravagant. Weedle used his forehead horn for some finer details. With them all working on it together, the whole experience is a lot more fun than any of the Pokemon anticipated.

Raid Prompt: [1055 words]

The three friends were released into the clearing. They looked around, taking in their surroundings, then they turned to look ahead at their opponent. They were all very shocked at what they saw. Towering for what seemed like miles above them was the biggest Pokemon they had ever seen! It took a moment for them to figure out what fused Pokemon made up their opponent. Knowing what Pokemon fusion they were fighting helped them figure out the types involved. Luckily, most of their team had an advantage against the typing of their foe. Each Pokemon looked at their enemy, each drifting into their own mind to plan out their strategy of attack. What would be the best moves to use against this enemy? Should they attack with damaging moves or status changes? Should they run around instead to try to be a distraction?

It was the smallest teammate who would have the most impact in the fight against the dynamaxed Pokemon. His Poison type attacks were double effective against both the grass type and the fairy type which was the Leafeon x Shiinotic combination. By that logic, that would make his Poison Sting attack quadruple effective. That was how it worked right? His thoughts of victory were lessened when he looked again at who they would be fighting. Weedle couldn't help giving a shudder with fear as his one-foot form faces a giant-sized Pokemon. It towered far up into the crimson clouds. It was hard for the small bug to even see the opponent's face.

After a moment of panic, the small bug shook his head. This was his time. This is what he was wanting, strong opponents to fight to help make himself even stronger so that he in turn could grow big and strong. He steeled his nerves, trying not to think too hard about the size difference. Poison. His and his friend's best attack against this Pokemon. He shot out Poison Sting after Poison Sting, whittling down the HP of the dynamaxed Pokemon. "Just keep attacking, keep moving about and attacking," he thought to himself as he lashed out with the stings. A poke here, a squirm to the left or right, a poke there, and repeat. When he ran out of uses for that move, he would have to use whatever else he had to help wear down their opponent. So long as he did not get knocked out first. The small bug shook his head again to keep those dark thoughts out.

Shifara had an advantage against the grass part that made up this Pokemon. Her fire attacks would do double damage to it. She looked down at the determined expression on Weedle's face as the battle was about to start. She smiled at her small friend's bravery, knowing that it must have been hard for him to push away his fears. She too was not very big, but she was quick on her feet. Her plan of attack was to fire off Ember after Ember while dodging any incoming attacks with her fast paws. She knew the hits coming from their enemy would hurt a lot if she were to get hit by them. She took a calming breath, preparing herself for the fight as the battle started.

Neko bounced around for a bit, his energy getting the best of him and keeping him from sitting still. While he bounced from paw to paw, he wondered what he should do in the fight. His attacks were not particularly effective. If he used the wrong move, it might even be less effective. He looked at their opponent with worry before his gaze turned to his friends. Shifara was bigger and older than he was. She had fire type moves that would do a lot of damage to the giant-sized Pokemon facing them. Just by the fire burning behind her eyes, she did not appear to be worried about the fight. She almost seemed eager to start the battle and unleash her firy furry. He took comfort in her confidence. Next, Neko's gaze moved to view his friend Weedle. He was the smallest and newest member of the team, but oddly enough, his attacks had the potential to do the most damage out of each of them. He couldn't help but be impressed by the small bug. He had not glanced over to see the momentary terror on Weedle's face, but only the steeled determined look on the small bug Pokemon's face.

Neko turned his attention back onto the dynamaxed Pokemon. He would try to attack with Fake Out first so that it could hopefully keep their opponent flinched. The less their enemy could attack them, the less damage they would take themselves. Neko nodded excitedly, getting eager and happy with the plan. If he ran out of chances to use that move, he would just switch to Scratch to do standard damage. Every little bit would help them knock out their foe. He would try to dodge and weave on his paws to avoid getting hit as well if the attacks ended up missing.

From off in the distance, intense music sounded. It made its way all around the battlefield, all around the battling Pokemon. It was as if it were created and played directly for their battle. But each Pokemon did not have time to think too much about it as they started their attacks. It was hard to say who got the first move in the battle as it seemed to be a blur of movements, jabs, strikes, flames, and the like. Health bars and pp uses were dropping much quicker than any of them hoped for.

Each Pokemon on the team did their best to focus on the attacks while also keeping their guard up so that they might dodge any incoming attack. With the size of the dynamaxed Pokemon, even their feet could potentially crush all three. Neither Pokemon wanted to think about that dark fate, so they pushed out the negative or dark thoughts from their heads as soon as they crept in. Focus. Staying focused and giving it their all was the key. They were not the most experienced team in the battle, but their trainer loved each of them so much and believed in the abilities of all three. They could do it!

Prompt: Unlimited Prompts #1-10

1. (111 words)
Petal has learned many moves through her various spars, training sessions, and encounters with trainers, and as such it would be very hard for her to really pick a favorite move as it often changes depending on the day. However, she recently learned a move from a traveling herd of Sawsbuck and Deerling that truly has her captivated. A move by the name of ‘Leech Seed’, which, when used on a pokemon, drains them of a bit of their HP every turn. It’s such a versatile and interesting move because it basically doubles any damage Petal does to another pokemon, especially if she uses it in the beginning of the battle!

2. (219 words)
If you were to ask Petal if she had ever seen a legendary pokemon, she’d ask you what you meant. In Petals mind, any pokemon that is very good at what they do, be it anything from battling to healing to cooking, is considered legendary. She views them as masters, or legends, in their field and is very respectful to them. However, if you were to clarify and say a Legendary pokemon such as the God pokemon Arceus, she would understand. She would tell you her ‘grand tales’ of how she’s seen not 1, but 2 legendary pokemon in her time. About how she was watching from the top of a cliff as a massive black hole opened up in the air and a towering pokemon in blacks and reds and golds floated out and glanced around, seeming to realize it was in the wrong place, and promptly swam through the air and back into the portal before it closed behind it. And later that same day, she saw a large yellow white and black cat like pokemon jumping through the air around that same cliff, with lightning bolts shooting off of its hide. She often wondered if that second legendary had been looking for the first, and even what it would have done had it found the other?

3. (165 words)
Petal was honestly a very timid and shy treecko before meeting her fellow pokemon. She had lost her parents not too long ago and the forest has no sympathy, or more so, a simple truth to it, in regards to the pokemon living inside. Whether you live to survive and thrive, or you end up another’s lunch, the forest cares little, because eventually all will become the lunch to the various trees and plants that live there. You nourish others or others nourish you. She knew she would eventually end up the food of another pokemon in the forest, but when she found her fellow pokemon, her team, she realized that she could have a new family of people to support her and have her thrive. She learned moves from them, how to travel the forest safely, how to protect herself, and how to hunt. She became a courageous and proud pokemon who knew she had family who would stay with her no matter what.

4. (174 words)
So a little known fact about Petal, and subsequently her team, is that they actually are bonded with a Pokemon Ranger by the name of Red. As such they don’t actually have pokeballs because they live their own lives away from their pokemon ranger, but have a sigil that when drawn by their pokemon ranger, will call the pokemon to that ranger. It seems a little more complex than it really is, but it’s basically a mutualistic agreement that the pokemon ranger will help the pokemon become stronger, help heal them, and help them with any issues they may have, and the pokemon will do the same with the pokemon ranger. But if Petal had to pick a pokeball she’d be stuck in for the rest of her life, she’d rather like a ‘Love Ball’ because not only is it her favorite color, but she rather likes the connotations that come with the fact that a trainer had such a strong bond with her that they chose a love ball against any other pokeball.

5. (185 words)
Petals personality has multiple facets, but if one were to focus on her ‘overarching’ personality, it could be described as Bold. She is very opinionated and over enthusiastic. She always has something to say about any given topic, and if she doesn’t know what you’re talking about, you can bet she’ll be looking it up to find out. She is always doing something, but she will also move on from things at the drop of a hat if she finds something more interesting. This often leads to her gathering a bunch of stuff for any given hobby, and then moving on for it before she completes anything. This leaves many hobbies, and the items she gathered for them, gathering dust and building up in the many places she stuffs them when she no longer has interest in them. She also gets irritated quickly, but that doesn’t mean she has a quick temper, in fact, it’s very hard for someone to actually get her mad. She would rather leave a situation where she was getting angered than to stay there and actually blow up on someone.

6. (156 words)
Petal was hatched and had grown up in the ‘Forest of Life’. She’s been in pretty much the same place her entire life, but unfortunately her egg was the only one of her clutch that had hatched, and when she crawled out of her egg and looked around for the first time, there was no one there. She waited for days for one of her parents, or even just a passing pokemon, to come and help her, but no one came. So she had to move on from her nest on her own, as she was still freshly hatched an weak she tended to avoid any sort of confrontation she could, and she learned how to hunt and battle by watching other pokemon from high up in the trees. She was eventually found by her team that she is with now, all of whom were nice and welcoming to her and taught her how to survive.

7. (197 words)
Red (Genova): Petal sees Red not only as a close friend, but also as an older brother or father figure. He has done so much for her and helped her grow strong. He has been there for all of her hardships and has helped her overcome them. He views Petal as a little sister and is always looking out for her. He wants her to succeed in whatever goals she has in life and they have been closely bonded since he met Petal on the edge of the forest.

Armor: Armor is definitely like a funny little brother to Petal. He’s always tripping over himself, but he’s very sincere and that’s what Petal loves about him. They are the youngest of the team, so far, and as such they have a closer bond than most.
Laurel & Triumph: Laurel and Triumph have very similar relationships with Petal as pseudo fathers/uncles. They are the oldest of the team and are always watching out for everyone and hunting, as well as guarding the clearing and the rest of their territory. They aren’t as close as Petal and Armor or Red, but they do have a strong bond with her.

8. (198 words)
Petal lives in a very large and over abundant forest on the outskirts of the town of Wandermere. This forest is referred to by the locals of Wandermere as the ‘Forest of Life’ or, more recently, the ‘Sleepy Forest’. It was named as such because of the over abundance of psychic and ghost type pokemon that had traveled and set down roots deep in the middle of the forest. If one were to get caught traveling in the forest, and off the trails, they would be lured by the psychic and ghost type pokemon to continue further and further towards the dead center of the forest, before they would be lulled to sleep, to forever join the forest unless they were found and brought back to Wandermere. Petal lives closer to the town of Wandermere than to the center of the forest, in a large clearing with the many other pokemon that make up her team. She personally lives in a large tree that had been shaped by many grass types to have many different rooms to be occupied by other pokemon, but so far she’s been the only one who has wanted to live in the trees.

9. (317 words)
Petal, along with the many other pokemon that have joined her over the years, are actually bonded with a Pokemon Ranger by the name of Red. Red’s full name is actually Genova RedMoon, but they feel like it’s a mouthful, so they prefer to go by Red. What it means to be bonded to a pokemon ranger is that of the ranger is ever in need of help from any of the various pokemon they are bonded too, the pokemon ranger will draw a specific sigil that is based on which pokemon is needed, and once that sigil is drawn, that pokemon will feel a call towards where the pokemon ranger is, as well as what the pokemon ranger needs in general. For example, if the pokemon ranger needed help defeating a Beedrill swarm, they would call a pokemon, and that pokemon would know where the ranger was as well as the fact that the ranger needs them to battle something, but depending on how strong the bond is, the pokemon may get more information like the fact that it needs to battle Beedrill, or maybe just the pokemons type that it will be battling against. But, the pokemon ranger could also just call for them for companionship, or to help them move and object, or even to help them heal other pokemon. The pokemon that the ranger is bonded too can be anywhere, can travel the entire world, could even be on the other side of the world, and they would still feel that call of the bond if they are needed, and of course, they would come, as a pokemon ranger doesn’t not ‘catch’ pokemon in a traditional sense, with a pokeball and a battle. Instead the pokemon ranger will either battle or help the pokemon to prove themself and the pokemon will then decide if the pokemon ranger is worthy of bonding with them.

10. (302 words)
Petal has a pretty wide move set currently, especially for a grass type pokemon that hasn’t evolved yet. She has the following moves: 1) Leech Seed 2) Grass Knot 3) Aerial Ace 4) Pound 5) Energy Ball 6) Protect.
She learned Leech Seed from a migrating herd of Sawsbuck and Deerling, who she had seen use the move on an attacking group of ghost type pokemon. She was awe inspired and had trotted right up to the nearest Sawsbuck and asked if he could teach her how to do that move.
She learned Grass Knot and Energy Ball naturally from her day to day traveling and huntings. She practiced and practiced using her grass type energy until suddenly she was performing Grass Knot’s and Energy Ball’s left and right.
Both Pound and Protect were learned during the many spars she had with her friends and rival, a Litleo that was part of a pride nearby her teams base.
Aerial Ace was a tricky one, that gave her trouble loads of times. She just never could seem to get it right until she met a group of Starly, Staraptor, and Staravia that had taken up roost in a group of trees right next to her teams clearing. She had watched them for a while to see if the would stir up any trouble for her team, and as such she got to watch them perform Aerial Ace’s and other stunts in the air that were truly stunning. She made her way to their nests and asked if she would be able to join in their training, and they were confused at first. Why would this young featherless lizard want to learn to fly? But once they saw her perform her first Aerial Ace, they realized what a natural she was in the air.
