Apollyon and its trainer Mal set off to gather some Volbeat Shimmer, the next ingredient in their pie. The Volbeat flew serenely above the lake, their little trails of glimmer lighting up the night sky.

“Alright Apollyon, you have to be super quiet and careful, alright? We don’t want to sca-” Mal couldn’t even finish talking before Apollyon shot off a hyper beam in the direction of one of the Volbeat. Immediately, every Pokémon in the vicinity scurried away out of fright. It looked back to see its trainer was not impressed.
“Damn it… it’s alright, it’s fine. We will just wait here until they all calm down. Can you please listen this time, though?”
The Tupe: Null dug at the dirt sheepishly. It refused to make eye contact.
“Apollyon…” Mal wrapped her arms around the large creature. “You know I still love you, silly. It’s okay. You’re reactive, and I understand why. We can try again though.” She smiled. Apollyon seemed to relax a bit.

Once the Volbeat returned, Apollyon entered the water quietly this time, a large jar in its claws. It carefully collected the sparkly dust as it fell. Soon, the jar was completely filled, and the two of them were able to return to Auntie’s.

“It’ll be a good idea!” Fawkes pleaded, dancing around with nothing other than fire, “We could take a hot air balloon! That has-”

“Fire.” Sakarune glared, “Absolutely not.”

“Guys I-” Arcane started, but Fate interrupted, “What if we YEETED ourselves into the air?”

“Again?” Fawkes asked, “But isn’t that more dangerous than fire?”

“Guys…” Arcane shifted.

“YES and no…” Sakurune sat down and thought. “Fire might actually scare the Volbeat though.”

“Guys…”

“So YEETENING it is?” Fate asked, excited. It wasn’t everyday you were yeeted into the air.

“GUYS!” Arcane shouted, flapping their wings, “I CAN FLY.”

Prompt(s): (61 words) Salvia had come back with the Curled Bean Pods crying because they had been chased home by burmy, thankfully May-Reo was very practiced in administering first aid ( and they had a collection of cool band-aids to share). Together they worked on turning it into paste for Auntie, making a huge mess of the kitchen, but they were successful in the end.

Apples, you can never go wrong with apples (unless you're allergic of course). Mango has a love for apples, so when Auntie gave them the option to go see Drampa's apple orchard, Mango was on the go without another thought. Arriving at the little cottage, the little sewaddle knocked and stood there, quiet and staring, even when Drampa had opened the door.
"Oh! Hello, little one." Came the gruff, friendly voice of Drampa, a sweet little grin on their face. "Here to gather those apples, I assume?"
Mango didn't respond for a moment, creating an awkward tension before finally nodding their little head. This drew an awkward little chuckle from Drampa who then nodded, "Well, let me go grab a basket for y-...".

Drampa's words trailed off into silence when Mango slipped by them and into the entry way of the home, grabbing one of the baskets without much of a word and a simple side-eye glance before backing up out the door. They headed down the little path to the orchard, leaving a confused Drampa behind.

Two hours later and then another knock, Drampa answered the door, looking down to be greeted by a mountain of apples, and little Mango peeking out behind them. The little creature held out one of the apples, the smallest of the bunch, to share with Drampa.
"Well, thank you." Drampa gruffed a laugh, taking the apple, "One's enough for me, now how about we get these back to Auntie's?"

the starless night was dark as nyx settled in among the underbrush in the area marked on the map. the volbeat had just gathered and chatted a bit before taking flight. nyx looked on in amazement as they turned a starless night into a star filled one.

it was truly beautiful and breathtaking to watch. nyx caught herself getting lost in it. they way the volbeat moved like in dance, the trail of glow that followed after them, everything about it was something from out of a fairytale. and as soon as it started, it was over. the volbeat parted and flew away, and their glow dust settles onto the lake just like how auntie appletun said. nyx quickly gathered some of the dusk from the lake before it faded away.

Prompt: Shifara and Neko wait in Auntie Appletun's home until the sky grows very dark. Thankfully, the each have very good dark vision, or they would need to take one of the available lanterns. They are both very excited to harvest some Shimmer! A glowing pie just sounds fantastic to the two!
While walking, Neko snuggles close to Shifara, feeling the fear bristling his fur. The woods are much spookier in the dark. He is too headstrong to admit his fear. Shifara pats his head in assurance and nudges him forward. After some more walking, they can see a bit of glow through the trees, as if someone had strung up and turned on some light bulbs among the trees. They soon came upon a clearing and the source of the light: many Volbeats floating about the trees, bobbing and weaving in a spectacular dance. It was quite mesmerizing. The two young Pokemon watched them dance around in the sky, their path taking them close to the water ahead.
Shifara shook her head as she snapped out of the trance and remembered what they had come for. She instructed Neko to start gathering the dropped Shimmer into his pouch. The Fennekin made sure he wasn't still entranced before starting on the task herself. She figured two bags of the Shimmer should be good.
Once they had collected enough, the watched the remainder of the dance before they disappeared over the water. The two Pokemon dashed back to Auntie Appletun's home, eager to show her their progress and exit the spooky woods.

You'll need four total ingredients to create a pie. One that adds flavor, one for color, another for aroma, and finally one for charm!

1. Pecans will add a nutty flavor to your pie! I gathered some up beforehand but I don't have any physical moves to break open the tough shells... Oh but I'm sure you can crack them open! Just don't break my counters, hoo-hoo~ Give it your all, you can go outside and have fun with it... The trees out back are pecan trees anyway!

2. Roasted Pokebeans add a rich chocolatey color to your pie! An Alolan import, these beans are often eatten as treats, but any pokebean that's been roasted to a deep brown can be steeped in your pie filling for an exquisite brown color! A bit of cream can lighten this up of course~ Find an Island native pokemon to see if they have beans to spare and get to a fire type for roasting! Or of course you could use my oven, but traditionally the roar of a pokemon's fire gives these beans enough variation in color to be more... Interesting!

3. Brawled Coconut adds... Well. An aroma of ocean coconut to your pie! These sad little coconuts are all thats left after a Crabrawler has gotten their claws on one. They're unsuprisingly cheaper due to being more common than fresh coconut. The tasty flesh is dried with the flavor saltwater on beaches making a hard grindable chunk! Think of it similar to toasting dried coconut garnish~ A delightful smell, right? You can either win this from a pokebattle with a Crabrawler, or just search the beaches for some nicely aged Brawled Coconut~

4. Custard adds a luxurious charm to your pie! Use it as a filling or a creamy topper, it will elevate your pie to new standards! This ingredient I don't need you to fetch per-se... But it's tough for me to whip the custard without my trusty mixer! Would you mind spending an hour or two helping your "Cooking Auntie" make the custard?

“Maxwell!”
Klee bounded over to the Torracat, his arms filled with dozens of Pokebeans. Of course, the first pokemon he thought of when he needed something roasted was one of his fellow explorers! Though, every time he did try to meet up with Maxwell, he always managed to get surprised in one way or another.
“Here, here! I got them all so, can you just- handle it?”
“Whaaaa-?”
Maxwell had a goofy look on his face, but he took a few steps back while Klee placed all the beans on the ground. After a few seconds, Klee still hasn’t stepped away.
“Now come on, squirt. Ya gotta move if I’m gonna burn them!”
“No, not burn! Also, hold on! I’m counting them! Getting them all sorted and- Oh, okay! I got enough so-!”
With little hesitation, Maxwell performed Fire Fang and nearly scorched poor Pichu’s tail ribbon.
“HEY! You nearly got me!”
Maxwell let out a wheezing laugh.
“All I heard was OK! Thought you moved!”
Klee pouted and tapped his foot impatiently before he finally gave a sigh, a smile finally appearing on his face.
“Jeez, I thought I was gonna become like some sort of Rapidash!” he patted down his tail ribbon, “But, thanks! Now all my beans are nice and toasty!”
