Why: Her coloring reminds me of the light spirits from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Each of the four spirits resemble a different animal, and Lanayru resembles a giant snake. The name Lanayru is also derived from the name Nayru - one of the three Golden Goddesses who created the world and the Triforce in The Legend Zelda series. Nayru is often referred to as the Goddess of Wisdom - and dragons are often associated with or seen as symbols of wisdom.
