Day 1
Username: sprig
Cow: Heavenly
Prompt:
When you walk up the road, the first thing you'll see is a white picket fence. It laces its way all the way up the front road, and wraps around the old house creating a big open paddock like yard. The front walkway is guarded by a small gate, with a lattice archway hanging over it, completely covered with tiny spray roses, soft and pink in color.
The house itself is an old victorian farmhouse style, built on the 75 acre property before it was ever turned into Lavender Meadows. The house is a pale purple in color with soft white trim around the doors and windows. A delicate porch wraps around the front and one side of the house, with a pair of rocking chairs and a porch swing.

"I haven't live here my whole life, nor have I been here very long," Heavenly whispered under her breath, "but this place has made such a lasting impact on me. They've given me a place to feel safe, a place to feel loved. Somewhere that i can have a family. They've even given me my own half acre lot where I've been able to build my own strawberry patch. I am so glad to call this place home."

      Day 1
      Username: Morghettio
      Cow: True Hospitality
      Prompt:
Day 1 - Describe the place where your Buttermilk grew up, or a prominent place in their lifetime. Go into as much or as little detail as you would like

Daisy Grace's question made Howdy immediately think.

      Where did you grow up?

Howdy struggled a bit to answer that one. But a prominent place? He knew that right away. The young man let out a bit of a dreamy sigh, thinking of the letter.

"I gots the notice when I came back home... I was servin' for a time, came back... They decid'd to make me and my buddy Prescott join an expedition as medical sergeants. Specific'ly, special ops..."

He pauses, thinking, before continuing. The bull let his hand wrap around his mouth and chin, cupping his cheeks in thought. He let an imaginary bubble get trapped behind his lips, before letting it go softly.

Getting his invitation to the expedition was a secret honor. The letter itself had so much crossed out, blacklisted: whole pages of the letter had been marked out in black, seeping through the back of the page. There was just... redacted, as a stamp, all over some pages.

      Please fill out the following form to the best of your ability and return it promptly to the following mailing address;

      ███████████████████████████████
      ███████████████████

      Thank you,
      ██████████ ███████████████████████ ██

It was not that Howdy did not have the experience. He had his Expert Field Medical Badge, and passed all of his tests with little issue. The expedition itself was... something.

Howdy just remembers the day he landed to start this journey. He cannot remember much about the expedition itself... but he remembers Thule Air Base: his new home. Located over icebergs, two islands, a polar ice sheet, and four connecting glaciers... a frigid climate, where the temperatures barely broke freezing in the peak of summer. There were no more hot, July days, when the hottest it could get was 45 degrees. He remembered stepping off the plane, greeted with gusts of ice and sheets of snow: for someone with a camera, the whirling snow might have been photogenic. For Howdy, it just stung.

It made the man grow out his beard.

The young man liked it here. Bolstering his best friend Prescott by his side, Howdy did well. He did fine.

It is funny: Howdy does not remember getting his medals or titles as well as that moment. The moment he stepped off that plane, and his whole life as a medic changed.

      My prominent place...

So, Howdy explains just that. He was in the military, got a letter, got sent on the journey of his life. Now, he is on break, at home. Howdy lives in a hotel, and is trying to enjoy this little farmers market as much he can. Life here is simpler: life here is sweet.

Howdy just wants to make the most of it.

    Cow:
    Prompt:
Abby grew up in the fields not far from her home, where there was a large slope and fruit trees that go on and on for the eye to see. There was something in the place that she grew up in- rural, but loving. Where the sunrise and the sunsets were more beautiful than anywhere in the world and it was there that she knew there was no where else she'd want to be but here. In the little ranch that she had called her home for so many years. She remembers this place as a prominent feature in her youthful days, where the pigs and the chickens would make a ruckus during the day and her family would be running through the houses, her mother making food and her father out in the field. She was a simple girl during those times, away from the hustle and bustle of life nowadays. Perhaps that was the most prominent of the 'olden days', her quiet lifestyle on the farm. And there was a hill there- oh there was a hill that she used to love sitting on top of, that she loved to roll through and create quite the fun for herself doing. Things like those were her childhood memories and the most prominent memories of her home. [217 words]

Day 1
Username: Yodel
Cow: Skylar
Prompt:
After visiting Azi’s jam booth and being frustrated (although not surprised) with the lack of watermelon jam, she trotted off to the open grass, just outside the farmer’s market, glaring at passerby. Her hooves stomped through the clumps of grass until she reached a tree with a thick trunk, which vaguely reminded her of one she used to occasionally spend time around when she was just a calf at her old farm.

Skylar had a lonely childhood, hardly ever getting along with the other bovine. Because of this, she would spend her free time trotting through the seemingly endless fields of grain that grew on her farm, brainstorming ways she could bend the rules and push people’s buttons. This is where she came up with her most rebellious schemes, while the stems of the grain brushed her coat as she ran.

When she wasn’t in the fields, you would likely catch her trying to sneak mouthfuls of watermelon jam from the kitchen. After all, she had mastered opening the jam jars. Despite her mother’s scoldings, she continued time and time again, getting a rush of adrenaline each time.

The farm was perfect for Skylar, lots of room to run and rules to break, she lived her ultimate carefree, rebel-child life. Well, that was until they moved away.

Suddenly, Skylar was snapped back to reality with the cool chill of a passing breeze. She gazed around at the open grass, then back towards to farmer’s market before reluctantly getting up and joining the hustle and bustle of the crowd again.

    Day 1
    Username: Micki.
    Cow: Hyacinth
    Prompt:
Soft, classical music filtered its way through the air, seeming to sweep and sway with the movement of everyone in the room, before finally drifting out of an open window on the light breeze. It was a cool, pleasant morning just after sunrise, but the room was warm and the air thick with the heat of several people. The polished, wooden floor squeaked lightly with the sudden shifts in weight.

All throughout the room were men and women dancing and jumping – ballet shoes making soft tapping sounds that were very nearly drowned out by the light music.

In the front of the room was a particularly graceful ballerina, performing a flawless routine that some of the other dancers had stopped to watch. She wore a soft smile, and her eyes twinkled as she went along – so perfectly practiced, so expertly executed.

This was where she was at home: going through these motions, practicing her art, her passion, her love.

      And it clearly showed.

She finished the routine with a dramatic collapse to the studio floor, head hanging towards the ground and eyes closed, and it caused a few of the others to gasp and clap in excitement. The young woman looked up at them, a smile across her delicate features. She was completely and utterly in her element.

“That was gorgeous, Hyacinth! Just breath-taking!” another young woman complimented, her voice barely above a whisper. Others around them rolled their eyes at the comment, but Hyacinth’s smile only widened, “Thank you, Tessa.”

It was a good thing that she was so down-to-earth, for all the praise she received could easily have gone to someone else’s head. Not Hyacinth, though. She was as grounded as they come, and completely dedicated and devoted to ballet. Nothing else gave her more of a sense of hope, accomplishment, and peace than this.

      Ballet was a second skin.

And this studio? This studio was where she grew up.

Day 1
Username: Black.Wings
Cow: Taibhseach (Will call her Ghostly for pronunciation sake)

Prompt: 219 Words
She hit the dance floor after the introduction trying to ignore the question at hand, she just wanted to have a good time! It was packed, hooves flying, everyone was having a blast. But as Ghostly danced, she started to reflect on her past. The farm she lived on was always packed. Always bustling, everyone was so happy just like here at the hootenanny. A bull bumped into her jerking her from her daydream. “Pardon me! Care to dance?” She let out a chuckle and started to dance with the bull. After a few songs she went to sit down and grab a drink. A fine glass of milk, not nearly as good as her family farm though. Best milk in the country, or so they say. She believed it, she believed anything her mother told her. The bull she had been dancing with walked up to her. “Y’all right there love?” She jumped a bit. “Y-yeah, I’m fine!” He beckoned her to come back and dance. “Oh, why not?!” She jumped up and followed him back to the dance floor. They danced the night away and had a blast doing it! Soon she felt exhausted and decided to head home. She bid farewell to the bull she had made friends with and made her way to the door.

    Day 2
    Username: Areater
    Cow: Phantom
Prompt: phantom is perceived, well, how she portrays herself - as a skittish, awkward, but curious buttermilk. she doesn't mind that perception too much, because really, it's true! she licks her hooves when she's nervous, and occasionally stutters a bit over her words when she's feeling anxious. she startles easily, by loud noises or confrontation, and especially when she's woken up from sleep. but if she could change how other buttermilks saw her, she would appreciate if the curious side of her was a little more prominent than the jumpiness and the awkward moments. because, really, her motto is (with emphasis on the second half, of course), "curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back!" what should be brief trips take ages with her because she'll spend half the time going down random side paths, sticking her nose in the bushes to see what might be hiding in them, and wondering aloud what mysteries might be around any corner. she's always curious what's happening in other buttermilks' lives, and loves to chat - and maybe even gossip a little - to find out! but alas - her lighthearted fun and lively conversations are often forgotten in the face of her embarrassing moments. oh well - she could have a much worse reputation! Day 2
Username: DarkestWerewolf
Cow: Aria
Prompt: 211 words
Upon first impression, many would see Aria as “the quiet one”. She’s always on the sidelines, just casually observing and looking around. Truthfully, not a lot would notice her. She tends to be quiet and just do her own thing. However, when either party starts the first interaction, Aria would usually start to warm up.

She would start to smile at them, initiate small talks with them or just graze near or with them. Aria wants to analyse them first before determining whether she’ll be able to open up to them. Eventually Aria will start to open up and the other party will come to realise that Aria is a pretty decent moo. She’s pretty sociable but not like a social-butterfly. She has her shy moments and when they’re close enough with Aria, they’ll come to realise that she has an interest in going on adventures. Invites to hike in a forest or explore that new forest trail. Nothing too extreme but there’s always a child-like happiness when the other party accepts.

Personally, Aria doesn’t have any wishes on how she wants to be perceived. If they don’t like her, sure. If they do, that’s great too. She doesn’t want to push or make someone see her as someone she isn’t.
