Prompt Response: This Kalon is wary of magic. Ever since a magic accident that changed his gender when he was young, he has been afraid of magic’s full power. He will use it for little things such as getting something off of a high shelf or helping someone out, but never for big reasons such as love or his personal life. Ever since the accident, he has accepted being a male and it has not changed his life much other than make him cautious with magic. His family members are serious magic users and shame him for being scared of magic for such a little and silly reason as some of them have lost limbs or part of their souls to magic and find him to be overreacting. However, he knows that they are the ones that are making the mistake as he prefers to have all of his limbs, thank you very much!

Firaas doesn't hate magic, she fears it. She has seen so many kalons lives be affected by magic, which is why she lives her life magic free. This is hard to do in a world built by magic, but she manages as best she can. She has seen kals use magic in evil, dark, and twisted ways. The kalons she fears the most, however, are the ones who become dependant on magic. The ones who think that the magic they use is harmless and that there are no negative effects to it.

This fear makes things difficult for her, when she falls for a kal that was born from magic. He never asked to have magic, but he will never be able to escape it. Can she trust her heart? Or will her head and fears come between them?
