"Seriously?!" He groaned, observing his burnt skin. It was already peeling off, making for quite the unattractive
sight. He passed a hand through his curly locks in vexation, stomping away angrily. He peered around the cruise
ship, passing by the stores and shaking his head. Shopping was most certainly not of his personal taste. Walking
further in, roaming about the many hallways and even taking the elevators up and down, eventually, Cato stum
bled across the room alight with flashing colored lights and people of all ages. Kids running about screaming eag
erly and begging their parents for more money, demanding they have a greater amount of tokens. Cato bit his li
p and stalked in, grabbing a five-dollar bill from his back pocket and sliding it into the machine. It spits out thirty
tokens, an alarm even sounding to add to the whole "theme". He grabbed them and dumped them into an empty
plastic cup, carrying it towards an available game. It was the famous Pac-Man. He recalled playing it as a kid,
just as eager as the little ones which ran around him, but instead using a smartphone. As he rapidly pressed the
buttons and moved the joystick, he discovered he wasn't too bad after all. Time passed, and his score kept
increasing, up and up. Eventually, a crowd formed around him, cheering him on and clapping. A loud alarm followed
a small while later, and an announcement on the screen was made that he'd officially beat the high score.
Cato lived his arms in victory. Perhaps not being out in the sun wasn't so bad after all.

Gia roamed through the streets, the smell of sea salt and ice cream was strong in the air. Gia was about to turn down another street when they paused looking up at a sign that hung on a tiny hook above the door of a pale
sea green building. Squinting they were able to make out the faded words, 'little sailors souvenir shop.' With curious eyes Gia pushed the door open and wandered inside. A tiny bell rung alerting the store keeper who looked up at them with a smile. "Welcome, please look around I'm sure there will be something that'll catch your eye," they spoke motioning towards the many shelves with various items scattered on top of each. There was everything from tiny toy men to armbands made out of twisted coral, but right near the front window, where Gia had wandered over to, was a old leather book with a black ink pen tucked into it's spine. Gia picked it up running their paw across it. "A journal," Gia thought. "I know who would love this, and maybe I could write a little note at the front for them. Goodness knows they need a new book to write in." They smile contently before taking the book to the counter. The shopkeeper placed the book into a fabric bag before Gia payed and thanked them. After saying their goodbyes, Gia left the shop, their friend rushed up to them out of breath. "I thought we lost you! Wait- what have you got in the bag?" They exclaimed already forgetting how tired they were. They held it away from them. "You'll find out but for now I think I'm going to get some peach tea, catch you later!" Gia said before disappearing into the crown once more.
