extra: maddox waited, impatient, for the game over screen. it hadn't been in front of him for a second before he clicked 'continue', grumbling to himself. once the game had loaded back in, maddox immediately turned to take in his surroundings before moving his character forward and picking up the rifle on the roof he spawned on. his target, hovering in the left corner, was the person that had killed him last. the death cam had shown him exactly where the guy had been when he killed him. looking at the club across the street, he scoped in, scanning the users all hanging out in there. his sight landed on his target, but he saw eyes watching him back. he pulled away from the edge with his heart racing. 'it's a game, idiot, why did that scare you so much?' he asked himself, but when he turned to move further onto the roof and saw the man there, he threw the vr headset off. "about time," a voice in the real world remarked, and a scream left maddox as he jumped and turned to look at his door, where his roommate was leaning on the doorframe and smirking, "coming to dinner?" Datura rapped a claw against the cold metal edging of the desk, flipping through cameras with relative disinterest. He'd already made swift work of the heroes that had plagued him, and really, it was no fun to stare down the heroes as they awoke, sure to rampage the facilities. No matter, he could have everything cleaned up by late afternoon, he supposed.
Datura, named after the fatally toxic wildflower Angel's Trumpet, was just that. Deadly. Perhaps his gaudy colors were alluring, unassuming. He was charming, even, with a smile that made passerby swoon... which made negotiating his release no more work than a conversation over brunch.
In his mind, Datura was the perfect villain, never caught, anonymous to the citizens he became the bane of, and thwarting heroes with a mere wave of his hand.
And yet? Datura craved more.

username inferno. / name megara / gender female (she/her) / moodboard xx / extra megara has always been known for her mysterious disposition, some even fear her. a hermit, many rumors have been spread regarding who exactly she is, and what she does. most have settled on the belief that she, is in fact, a witch. practicing the dark arts in the security of her secluded home. it's unfortunate that some townspeople have gone so far as to visit her home amidst the gloomy night and play sick jokes. of course, the witch rumor is false, and couldn't be further from the truth. megara, simply, writes and sings songs. a talented musician, her acoustic guitar is almost always in her paws. her songs bring her peace of mind, despite the chaos which surrounds her. her voice is deep albeit soothing, but it's very rare that anyone gets to hear it, considering her anti-social nature and lack of friends. only those lucky enough who come in the evening may overhear her voice wafting from the open windows.
