Prompt: Many clanmates think Bloomkit is peculiar. Bloomkit loves seeing bright colors, everytime she sees one, she mews to herself. Whispering to herself when a few or no cats are around. Bloomkit might even talk out loud in the forest to herself. A few clan cats had sneak quietly to hear her mewing.

In any other clan this small trait wouldn't be notable, in any other clan having this quirk would be meaningless but this is BeachClan. The clan of the shores, the clan that hunts the waves and worships their ancestors in the reefs below. While some cats worry about prey they have nothing to fear for the fish in the sea are endless.
Which is why it has been horrifying for the clan to realise that young LillyKit is terrified of water, swimming and in some small way fish. She watches the waves balefully, from the safety of the nursery's entrance. FlowerPond and MackerelReef have to drag her to the TidePools to gently coach her into standing in shallow water without hissing and throwing a tantrum. They tell her she needs to learn to love the ocean, that the ocean will keep her safe and well fed but she simply hissed.

Nearly everyone in the clan has a hard time understanding what Harekit is saying. For the longest time, everybody thought he had an unusually rough, gravelly voice. The medicine cat even checked to see if there was something wrong, but Harekit seemed just fine. It wasn't until quite recently that it was discovered that Harekit was speaking this way on purpose.

Harekit insists that his voice really is this way, but his soft, high-pitched mew still occasionally slips out.

Why does this kit go to such an effort to sound like he's always about to cough up a hairball? Since Harekit claims it's his real voice, no cat is sure.

This kit his reasons, though. Harekit is actually self-conscious of his real voice. His "normal" meow is very soft and high-pitched.He knows that even compared to the other kits, his voice is paticularly kittenish.

Harekit wants to be a big, tough warrior, not just a kit. So, he tries to imitate them. He lowers his voice as deep as he can, and half-growls everything he says in an attempt to sound like the grown warriors in camp, hoping all the while that his voice will grow up with him.

Prompt: "What is it about the trees you like so much, Alderkit?"

The young grey tom heard this question a lot in his life. If he was being honest, he had no idea what exactly it was about them he liked so very much but it was plain to see that he had a preference to trees over cats and had for a majority of his young life. "They're big and sturdy," he'd say simply, tending to gaze toward his favorite tree as he explained. "I like the texture of the bark, and all the types of life they can sustain.... they're peaceful and will outlast us."

This seemed to be quite the philosophical view for such a young kit to have come up with on his own. Perhaps he had heard of it before?

Minnowkit was found in the middle of the clan's lake, fast asleep while he floated on a piece of wood. No one is entirely sure where he came from, but wherever he's from, he's definitely picked up some peculiar habits. None, however, is more odd than the way he enters dens. Rather than walk right in, as most cats do, he always turns around and walks through the den backwards. Whenever he's asked why, he simply replies, "For good luck, of course!"

Prompt: Quietkit's little quirk is that she follows cats around like a lost duckling. The poor kit doesn't speak much because she is shy so instead she bites onto a cat's tail and follows them as she holds their tail. This was how she ended up being found by Softfeather, Softfeather walked her all the way home to camp and introduced the kit to Echostar. The next day when Quietkit woke up Softfeather had gone on patrol so instead she clung to Silentclaw's tail and he had no idea what to do. Echostar flicked her tail in her face and Quietkit clung onto it instead and followed Echostar around camp for the rest of the day though Echostar tried to ask her why she liked doing that the small kit never told her. This was how Quietkit's quirk was found and they are slowly working on breaking her out of this unusual habit she has.

Prompt: This lil kit has a weird quirk of whenever they come across a stick, whether its in their way or barely on the trail, he picks it up and moves it off the trail/area. No one really knows why he does it, but it's found as a little joke in the clan whenever they come across a stick in the way and ask "Did Seal not find this one yet?" Everyone appreciates the little gentleman reviving chivalry though.
