Hey, Varity.

Now, please don't be alarmed by this stupid, random letter. It's not all that random, trust me. I've known you for, what, only 7 months? I know it's not much, but the past few weeks have been different. Not in a bad way, of course.

I've been noticing things I didn't used to notice before. The way you almost skip when you walk, the strawberry perfume you seem to wear almost every single day. Those little glances you give to me, or to anyone, whenever you're up to something. They give me this weird feeling I haven't felt in years. I can't stand being away from you.

I'm probably starting to sound creepy, so I should cut this short. I just want you to know there's so much more I'd say, but I don't have much time left. Let's just get to the basics, alright? I love you. No, not the, "You're my best friend!" kind of love. The kind of love that sticks around and fills you with emotions you've never felt before.

Please just try to be happy for me while I'm gone, okay? That's all I want from you.

Dear Aura,
I would like to start off by apologizing for any worries or uncertainties this letter may cause. It is not, nor will ever be my intent..

You're someone who I have watched change and blossom into the star you have become. The quite and introverted young woman who never left her tent is no more. She has energized and become more, and more confident every morning she wakes. I watch her perform with such great passion in every show, and watched her push herself to rise more quickly after each fall.

She has collected an internal archive of endless knowledge that never ends in reminding me of just how much effort she has put into her life. Her beauty is a ray of light in my troubled days although unbeknownst to this angel. Her eyes always betraying her emotions in her own troubled times, even if she is desperate to hide them in fear of bothering others.. the deep hidden fear of abandonment showing.

When you joined us I never thought I'd grow so close to you. Let alone attract such a strong feeling of adoration. One that has now only grown stronger.. I may be taking the cowards way out with this letter, but I fear harsh rejection or being shunned should you be cross.

I understand if you do not wish to associate with a wreak like me, but if you do. Meet me at the field edge tomorrow afternoon? The one with queens lace everywhere.

If you don't show I will assume you do not wish to know and have no interest for a relationship. I will try to move on in this case for I cannot lose such a dear and valuable friend because of my feelings.

Dear Poppy,

I've missed you. More than I thought I would, maybe. I would say I hope you've been well, but I know you haven't, and I guess that's why I'm writing to you.

I heard what he did to you. It wasn't okay, so please don't ever blame yourself. You're such a wonderful person and you didn't deserve to be hurt like that. People can be so mean, but please know that so many people love you.

And that includes me.

Even though it's been months since I moved, and we haven't talked as much, I still think of you as my best friend. Maybe you do, and maybe you don't, and either way it's okay. I still wonder what you're thinking, and what you're doing, and if you still go to the places we went to.

Love within friendship should never be underestimated. I believe that it's as strong as true love, maybe stronger, because it's so much harder to break. People talk about soulmates as being 'the one they were meant to find', but that's not true. There are so many people in the world, and so many soulmates to find. Friends or lovers, the bond is just as strong.

I feel warm when I'm around you; there's something about you that brings out the sun in me. I can tell you anything, and you listen like no one else does. You make me so genuinely happy, and that's not something you can easily find. I know you're going through a hard time, so I'm glad I waited to tell you now, because I think you need to hear this.
