with her everywhere, as it helps her calm down - its her favourite of her snowglobe
collection, as its the one that helps the most with her anxiety. Shaking it and watching
the sequins fall makes most of her worries float away - especially like those cute lil' ghosts!

Explanation//

Sauin loves both the traditional and new ideas that come up every Halloween, studying the mythos surrounding it quite heavily and being a sucker for holidays in general, but they'll always have a soft spot for a good old carved pumpkin. There's something so iconic about it. It's a fun, messy activity you can do with just about anyone, and after it's all done you can use the guts to go bake a pumpkin pie and make some roasted pumpkin seeds. Sauin recommends coating the seeds in cinnamon, and a bit of brown sugar, but the amount of sugar they consume is mildly terrifying, and their advice there should probably be taken with a pinch of salt.

They've been doing their best practicing to get more and more intricate designs, though the motifs are always pretty classic, and candy is a favorite subject.

[Also never got to carve a pumpkin this year. Getting to kind of digitally "carve" into one was pretty nice actually.]

Well, Winifred was always considered as outcast and a weirdo.
She was an orphan who lived with her uncle in his creepy mansion on the hill. Her uncle was a funny kalon who loved tricks and pranks but the town people always thought that he's just a weird old fraud, and all kids were told not to go near his big creepy house or his niece. That's why little Winifred was always alone. The only thing she loved was Halloween - she could dress up as a ghost or as a mummy and go outside to play with other kids who didn't know that's she's that weirdo from the house on the hill. And still it felt lonely when she came back to her house after midnignt.
Years passed, her uncle died. Winifred still has no friends but she's okay with that, living in her house all alone, practicing magic with the books she found on the cellar (guess her uncle was not so simple as it seems!). She's now a bit too old to dress up for Halloween, and no one will come to the creepy mansion for candies anyway. But the feeling that she shouldn't be alone tonight was so strong that she took a pumpkin and carved... a friend!! His name is Pumpkie the Pumpkin Kalon (she's not good with names obviously) and he's a funny guy and a good listener!
Maybe if she'll find the right spell in her magic book, she can make her friend come to life...
