☆Christmas Lights☆
Ah, Christmas eve. Sasha couldn't read the calender, but she was sure what day it was. Christmas eve just has that magical feeling, ya know? Sasha wagged her tail, it had just started to snow. She gazed out the window and flicked her ear, hearing her owner, Conner, walk up. He ruffled her mane. Then, he proceeded in bundling up to go outside. Sasha bounced around, knowing they where going for their annual Christmas eve walk. Conner opened the door for her. She bounded out and lead the way.

The sun had begun to set, and the lights on the houses shone though the dark. Sasha loved Christmas lights, and always paused to look at each decorated buildings carefully. Eventually they reached their destination. A small coffee shop at the corner, near where Conner first found Sasha as a viscling.

Conner bought a gingerbread cookie for Sasha, a cup of black coffee for himself and free candy canes where given to both of them from the cashier. Conner and Sasha sat near the window and watched the people passing by.

When Conner was finished with his coffee, and Sasha finished licking the crumbs from her cookie off the floor, they walked home. During the walk back, Sasha always remembers how lucky she is that Conner found her. She loves being with him, calming him down when he has panic attacks, or even just playing fetch.

When they got home, Conner held up two movies for he to pick one, each holiday classics, each time Sasha choses the one with the cute otter one the cover. Conner always groans, but puts in the movie as they sit on the couch and watch Emmet Otter's jug band Christmas. Sasha's favorite.

Holliday tradition
Every holiday season Aten tries to harness his restlessness into decorations. He adores the bright extravagant displays, and the glow of the lights. The creativity of it all inspires him to make some displays himself, but due to his endless energy and short attention span he can’t just do one display. He will be strolling through the forest until suddenly, a rush of inspiration comes to him. He will quickly grab some of his solar powered lights and sync all of them up to a holiday song. The darkness of the forest will have random bursts of color, music, and energy after a matter of minutes. Aten is incredibally skilled at his work having done so many small displays. Once his inspiration runs out he simply stops, and walks away. He only returns to his displays he has already set up if they are damaged or being attacked in some way. In those cases he gets very agitated and protective of his work because he is both proud of it and too lazy to repair them later most of the time. Other than those times, he is very cheerful about the holidays. Children often see his lights as a game of, ‘Who can find the most light spots’. Aten’s light displays bring a kind of mysterious energy-filled cheer to those who find them.

"Wake up its Christmas!" North opened her eyes. Christmas was finally here! Her father stood over her bed, a Santa hat on his head and a grin on his face. She leapt out of bed and raced downstairs. Entering the living room, North saw the tree, colorfully wrapped presents placed under it and squealed with excitement. Santa had come! She grabbed a red one with a tag that read "To: North Love: Mom" and tore into it. Inside, she found an adorable stuffed polar bear. "Thanks Mom!" North called to her mother, who was watching her from the couch. "I knew you'd like it" she replied. 20 minutes later, all the gifts were opened and wrapping paper covered the room. North had received an art kit from Santa, a cute purple sweater from her grandparents, an adventure book from her uncle, a fluffy blue coat from her dad, and more. "Should we drop off the food now?" North asked her parents. Every Christmas, her family drops off canned goods to the local food pantry so less fortunate families can enjoy Christmas too. "Yeah we should go before that storm hits" her mother replied. North headed out to her mom's car in her new coat and got into the backseat. Her parents came out a minute later, each carrying a bag of food, and got in. Her mom drove the family to the food pantry, and when they arrived, North couldn't stop from smiling. Her family's donation would be helping other Viscets enjoy the holiday with a nice meal.

Well, when it comes to the holidays. That's all Comet is about! Even though he might seem like a very mature, strong viscet, he has that fun side to him. First off, he starts on December First going out and picking his Christmas tree. He of course, has to find the biggest and best one, to show off to his friends. He probably runs around the tree farm for hours looking for the perfect one! He then carries it home on his back like a buff tuff because why not. Of course he brings out about 7 boxes of decorations and starts to decorate! After he decorates for about an hour, he of course calls over his reindeer buddies and bakes cookies and has a eating competition! Of course that doesn't end well for one of the viscets. Then finally around 5:30 to 6:00 he has fondue with them all as a Christmas dinner! Then around 7, he spends the night with his friends drinking hot coco and watching Christmas movies!

Some people speak of a tradition where they sit in front of the fire with hot cocoa, listening to Christmas carols while waiting for the great day to come. Others who say they go ice skating with their families. This is not so for Comet.

Every year as a holiday tradition, Comet dons his reindeer bridals and bells along with the entirety of his family. Grabbing coats, fur boots and their caroling books, Comet steps out of the door and treks down the road in his outfit, not long to stop in the middle of the road. Comet opens the book...

"We wish you a merry Christmas,
We wish you a merry Christmas,
We wish you a merry Christmas
and a happy new year!"

Comet and his family sing in the streets as the locals open the door and step out onto the porch. When they have finished their carols, the residents step down to give the family money for spreading the holiday spirit. But who said it stops here?

When the night is over for the carols and they retreat back to their home, Comet is the only one who stays up. His parents hand him all of the money, and he dashes off to the other side of town. I hear you asking, why? Why would you run away with the money? Comet and his family believe in everybody having a merry Christmas so he runs the money to the other side of the town to hand it out to all the homeless in need. He spreads the money around as fair as he can, and the whole town is grateful that they have such a kind Viscet like Comet.

Holliday tradition (500 words) - Spice was running around getting everything set up. Tonight was the night of her annual White Elephant Gift Exchange, it's her favorite Holiday tradition of all time. After she got all the food set up and everything else she went to go greet her friends. As they all entered they took a slip of paper with their number on it from the bowl, placed their present in the wicker basket, and sat down in the living room. Once everyone was in the living room Spice brought the gift in to the room and sset them down on the floor and explained the rules to the newcomers. When she finished it was time for her favorite part, the starting of the game. "Alright everyone as many of you know in this game your feelings might be hurt, things will get chaotic, and if we go to one in the morning like last year you will be tired, but you will still come back next year!" Everyone laughed as she spoke the last part as they knew it to be true. "Now..LET THE GAMES BEGIN!" She yelled, and thus another year of Spice's White Elephant Gift Exchange was a success.
