Why this song?: As a kid, Mikah was treated not as he wished. He often made friends with the wrong
group of people, and he was always the test of the group. They'd make him do things - and then they'd join
in - if the plan at hand didn't fail. He soon became leader of this group, after a few years of it sticking
together, surprisingly. The group expanded and spread out, and he soon became the head of crime in the
small city he'd called home for so long. He doesn't seem all too bad though, he doesn't partake in murderish
acts - and doesn't like to harm people - but will if he has to.

The group is mostly full of rebellious teenagers, and a few adults here and there, but it's very stable,
it often operates in the dark - smashing streetlights and vandalising property. They took what they wanted,
but only if they needed it. Mikah, once he came to leadership, sorta turned the group into criminal heros -
they'd rob stores and such, but they'd never attack people directly. They often fight among themselves
to practice, in case they get in any situations (especially with the police, what killjoys!).

Mikah likes to be in full control all the time and always has the upperhand in situations. If he doesn't
then it always results in a retreat, or him going into hiding. What drives him to work everyday is
his right hand man, who always boosts his confidence and morale, and always helps him with his
calculated plans. He often taunts him to boost his mood - and so that he's ready to take on another
day, well, night of crime.

Why this song?: Hugo is a relatively well known graffiti artist; his art can be seen from LA to New York City. He's become widely known amongst graffiti enthusiasts as "Oz", however in his real life he isn't so well known. He's jobless, sleeping from couch to couch and park bench to park bench. He's a drifter by nature, here one day and gone the next without a trace. Several friends have come into his life, only for him to drop off the planet and ignore calls and messages asking if he's doing okay and only showing up again when he needs some cash or a place to stay. He's incredibly tired of people telling him "you can talk to me?" or asking "are you okay?" or "just checkin' in" and he wishes he could just be left alone to waste away. However, sometimes he does get lonely and will pick up the phone for a chat, mumbling tiredly into the phone about what he's been doing and terrible songs he's written.

Considering himself a lost soul, he hasn't been able to find "home" yet. In fact, he's beginning to believe it doesn't exist, but he always finds himself back in New York City where his art is most prominently known and he can hear people talk about it as he walks by a wall he's painted. He's elusive, soft spoken and sad and not what anyone would be expecting from his loud, message bringing work. Times are hard, especially for a desperate man out of work when even his friends are getting tired of him.

He falls for flings, thinks it's true love and is shocked when his heart gets broken; he writes songs about it to a worrying extent. He's trying to find home in another person when he can't even find home in himself. He blows all the money he gets on unnecessary things and doesn't worry about or want a paying job. He devotes himself fully to his art, living for the moments when he almost gets caught and has to flee the scene. He picks fights at parties he isn't supposed to be at. He's never really won a fight, but it's fun to be all talk. He lives too fast with no thoughts toward the consequences.

All in all, the song relates heavily to his overall personality and lifestyle.

Jesse has always felt a kinship to this song in particular. It reminds him of his friends he had when he was younger before high school ended and makes him nostalgic. He remembers everything so vividly, the late nights and the trouble they would cause. He remembers hanging around establishments after hours, laughing and living it up in those years. They were all misfits, none of them were considers "cool" by the standard but none of them ever cared about that. They lived in the moment, and never took a day for granted as they took chances, took risks but made memories that would last a life time. He misses them greatly, but his life took him down a path much further away from the town he had grown up in. Now when he thinks back to those times, he wishes he could go back but not to change anything, just to relive those years all over again with those close friends of his.
