Why does she wear that cloth bracelet and where did she get it?~
(i hope that there isn't an exact answer for this, so i will make it up and hope it's okay XD)

When she was little, just barely the size of a St. Bernard, Iris was attacked by a grizzly bear. She fought hard to protect smaller animals that the grizzly bear was about to chomp down on, and there was much resentment between the two of them and the tension showed that day. The grizzly was about to swipe a fox aside when Iris stepped up bravely, challenging the nearly one-ton grizzly. They broke out into a claws and fangs fight with the small animals trying to throw whatever they could to hit the grizzly and help Iris. The massive grizzly wiped Iris aside like she was a bee buzzing around his head. She slammed against a tree, her paw barely having any fur or skin left in the area the grizzly had gripped her. The now tired grizzly lumbered off to his den like nothing unusual happened, leaving Iris wounded in the forest. The small animals saw Iris, their faithful protector, bleeding and nearly unconscious; they decided they needed to help. The owls brought her some small pieces of fabric that the squirrels wove together solemnly, for a moment forgetting their predator the owl looming over them. They were all so worried about Iris, there was no time for arguing or hunting. The squirrels tied the woven band around Iris's bleeding and nearly severed paw and hoped it would stop the bleeding. As the blood soaked up into the fabric, it turned rainbow colored, much like the coloring on Iris's fur, ears, and eyes. The wound healed rather quickly for such a serious wound and she was up and prowling her forest within a week. She still wears the bracelet in memory of her animal friends. No one is ever too small to make a difference.

Personality~Curious, creative, slightly condescending when she knows much more than someone about something (she likes to show off her knowledge XD), kind to those that are smaller than her and can't protect themselves, tough and strong

Well, since I have a JMD named Iris already, I tried thinking of a good name, but when I was thinking of some good ones, BAM the name Spectrum shmacked me in the face, But that name was already taken. So I head on over to my good friend google, then I start debating between Ichika, Niji, and Nigaq. I like them all a lot, picking one was very difficult fro me to do, seeing as they are all so wonderful. So I started to think of which one would I like typing all the time, which one has a ring to it that everyone might like, then I eliminated Nigaq, a very hard decision. So I now have 2 left Ichika and Niji, I look more into the meaning of them, and I decided to go with Niji. I just like it a little bit better all around. Niji means Rainbow in Japanese.

Well. She got the bracelet from her best friend. She is like her other half. When her friend gave it to her she said, "To add to the rainbow I gots you this buday." Later on that year Niji found out that her friend would be visiting another country for a full year. She never wanted to take the bracelet off because it was her friends and she wouldn'tbe able to bear parting with the bracelet because the bracelet is like her best friend, and she doesn't want to let go. When her friend came back she decided that it wouldn't change how she saw the bracelet, and how she wanted to always wear it. This way, it would always symbolize their friendship, something that can't be taken away.

Niji likes all colors. But her favorite color is indigo. It is the last color of the rainbow, but not many people aknowlage it which makes it a very special color to her.

Nickname Story~ She was playin with other kids in the playground at school when someone called her Marge. It made her upset, she found Marge an insult to her complex, exotic-sounding name. If you call her Mirage, congratulations, you have a new enemy.
Why does she wear that cloth bracelet and where did she get it?~ That was a gift from her trainer who taught her to run. It was for good luck and it was originally white, but the two of them dyed it together. I see you are confused. When Mirage was born, her parents were told that if she did not do continuous exercise, her leg muscules would start to fail. (Leg muscule atrophy) They brought in a trainer to teach her how to run and it seemed to come naturally. Once second at the starting line, the other she was at the end. She was entered in many competitions nationwide, so her trainer decided to give her one lasting bit of luck.
What's her one favorite color?~ You see that deep pink of her jewel? That's her favorite color. It's a radiant pink that seems to have some sort of deep feeling beneath it, if you know what she means. It's not a shallow, silly pink. It's her favorite.
Personality~ SHe's sweet and helpful, but when you hurt her feelings, don't expect her to stay for long! She's been teased a lot, so she's very thin-skinned. Not literally, just... You know what I mean.
Short story~
The sun glinted off of the dew on the grass. She was a time bomb, ready to explode, ready to burst at the sound of the whistle. A cry rang through the early morning air, along with a puff of breath. "Take your marks!" Mirage sucked in a deep breath. Time to vanish and reappeare at the finish line, a crude stick in the ground some 100 yards away. A whistle sounded and she burst. Sprinting down the well-trodden path, legs flying, wind whistling through her ears she leaned for the finish line, chasing opponents who did not exist. She flew past the stick and stopped as abruptly as she had started, chest heaving and head drooping. "Not bad, Mir. Not bad." came the voice of her coach. She gazed up into his wide eyes. "New record." He said, brightening Mirage's day considerably. A new record. Now she had something to tell mother and father. Her coach, who refused to call himself anything other than sed name, patted her on the back. "Let's get back to work!"

Why does she wear that cloth bracelet and where did she get it?~ When she was a young girl(she was turned into a dragon later), her parents where killed, and she had no one to turn to. Nearby, a dragon watched, unable to save the two humans, but able to rescue and foster the remaining infant. The dragon treated Vitaliny like a true dragon hatchling, feeding her fish and sheep and other forms of food. Of the many things Vitaliny, the bracelet was one of them. After the dragon died, she kept it as her only remaining piece of her savior.

She got the band from her father, who is now desceased. He was a soldier, and died protecting her. She has never, and will never, take her band off. It's the only thing left of her father.
