Action: oh god im a parent to a cygnet now. responsibilities. seeing as i, in all intents and purposes, have become this cygnet's guardian, i bring them back with me for some fun times playing with the other ducklings, goslings, and cygnets. i watch from a shaded distance on my blanket on the grass and make sure they don't cause too much trouble

Action: Today I bring "The Duckling Gets a Cookie!?" by Mo Willems and while I don't have any cookies for them because those aren't safe for them, I do offer them some lettuce instead if they are good listeners. Also if they let me pet them, because I'm a sucker for petting.

The ducks happen to be waiting for you, along with some young juvenile geese. It's like they knew you'd return again today and have made a habit of this! You settle down with them, reading the book and passing out lettuce while reading. It's popular and others come to join in half way through. When you finish the book, some do soft quacks and purrs in thanks, wiggling their tails in satisfaction as they walk away. They left you with 10 CDH Tokens!

Action: Today I brought along a very convincing duck decoy to plant for... science. Those duck drawings are gonna happen.

Science drawings you tell yourself. The decoy looks more realistic than your rubber ducky on the page. As you look up again, a chorus of honking warned your decoy before it got tackled. The foam piece was no more as the swan looked around and spotted you. The knowledge of eye contact was enough to make you grab your sketchbook, pencil, and run: while still attempting to draw the angry bird. Maybe you can't draw ducks, but man does this swan look good! It takes you a couple moments to realize it's just a hole in one of your pages. No wonder it looked so animated too! It's then you decide to finish evacuating before continuing your drawing attempts.

Action: Those silly geese, always getting in the way of a good time with some ducks! I bring my grape feed this time, I feel I need to pull all the stops if I'm to befriend some cute ducks ~

It appears the ducks and even geese are absent today, providing the fact you're currently feeding three swans some grapes. It's all going well, brilliant even. That is, until you ran out of grapes. A few honks of protest, and you told them you had no more. They demanded more. Your pleas to be heard went ignored as they honked louder and louder. You backed a few steps away but they rush forward and now, they're chasing you. A Park Ranger in the distance looked to be in pain at the interaction, knowing it's nothing you did wrong. They speed their ATV over and pick you up and drive to safety. Nobody could escape three angry and hungry swans alone!

I managed to escape the Honker. I head back to rhe pond, fo use some lettuce and see if I can entice any ducks.

The ducks are enticed by the lettuce and come over for snacks. They munch away, some even taking it and swimming away to share or eat in peace. You soon run out and notice something floating in the pond. A long nearby stick is your go to as you pull the object in. It's a bag of Duck Feed: Grapes!

Action: Today I am too tired to read any books so I take a nap next to the pond and set out peas for the ducks to snack on while I'm napping.

It's a refreshing nap. The peas are gone, and by the muddy webbed footprints, a smashing hit! In replace though is a Brush! I guess they thought you could use it to brush your hair out and clothes off of all the grass from your nap.

You failed the urge to not ducknap, so you sneak up to a nest. Just before you take a duckling, or what you thought was a duckling, a mother goose stands over you. You snatch and run, but she doesn't give chase. If anything she looks confused why you walked up to her storage nest. Once you get a distance away, you finally view what is in your hand. A fertility booster!

Action: I go for a walk through the forest today, making sketches of the plants as I wander around.

The plants were very vibrant today, some even looking like they were blooming for you and fluffing up their leaves. It's almost as if they all went to the hairdresser or something. But plants can't walk, nor do they have hair. What would make that thought cross your mind? You question it, but realize it crossed your mind because of the Comb sitting in your path!

Action: Sitting on a near by bench, I take in the various calls of birds and try to identify them in the bird watching book. Hopefully today I see a bird I haven’t encountered before

Our back and forth shall be found in the replies to others, the unknowing battle brewing. You sit on your bench holding your prize and just look around with a bit of shock. How did you end up in the middle of this?

Action: I take a stroll around the pond after my golf cart fiasco. I then went to search for ducks and a cobra chicken or two.
Duck Feed (If Owned/Optional): Duck Feed: Peas

Cobra chickens were successfully found. They look on to you, their previous hissing lingering in your ears. Every movement has you second guessing. The small quack behind you makes you jump, the peas flying all around you. The duck gets excited and quacks a few more times, dropping the unopened bag it was holding. It eats up as many peas as it can, the cobra chickens coming to get some peas as well. Deciding then, you take the unopened bag of Duck Feed: Grapes and stroll away from the area. Like it never even happened.

Action: Hmm... Maybe they have an idea, but the idea needs the bush somehow?
Let's take some cuttings from the bush down to the duckpond (complete with the berries from the bush!) And see if any of the ducks there have any ideas on what to use the bush for

...maybe bias against me winning another horse thougj, like, replace the horse option with a birdfeed or an item or something this time? Idk, that feels fairer to me, but it's your choice how to handle that, and it's just a suggestion anyway
I am enjoying the antics in any case

The ducks watch you carry the bush around, berries and all. A few tried to grab the berries but couldn't reach. Eventually they stop and watch you pace back and forth, talking your plan aloud to them. One goose decided to come close again, taking the bush stick from you. In shock, you look down and await for their plan. SWACK. They hit your shin with it!!! You dropped the rest of the bush cuttings and the peas and they all gather to snack on it. Your plan kind of work? They will fight for food, and food will earn world domination! You tell Earnest the ideas and the lad does his best to write it down. Showing you his work, it's just a bag of Duck Feed: Lettuce. He has the idea well understood!
(It's not often, and I think you got another 3-4 posts anyways? No worries on this though, the wheel knows somehow lol. I enjoy your antics too, they have been fun to reply to!)

The ducklings splash around and seem to be playing with the fish in the pond. It's cute, if the fish weren't nearly as big as the ducklings! Though the fish just also seem to be playing, sweet interactions truly. It's cuteness overwhelms you until a Park Ranger walks over. They offer you a Brush, saying that someone turned it in and claimed it was yours. You take it and shrug, going back to watch the ducklings splash around.

With little Cygnets comes little (lots) of responsibilities. Though in parenthood, I hear it's the little things that add up! We'll have to see about that. So far, giving them social time seems to be a great start. Another Swan parent walks over to you and hands you a bag of Duck Feed: Birdseed. A note is attached! Child Support payment from WFAS (Water Fowl Adoption Services). Cool I guess? Oh, an invite to a play date was included. Your baby made a friend!

You splash, they splash, all them splash! Now with the full on downpour, you want to go home. Unfortunately, you seem to be blind from the rain and can't really make out any directions. You at least get to the water's edge and get out of the rising pond, though you can't see past the fog. The goose honks at you and tugs on your shirt to follow and you place a hand on their head to not loose them. They lead you to the path and to the Ranger Station. What a smart goose! You give them lots of praise and they stick by your side inside as you both are given a towel to dry off with. Your new friend was happy to help and hopes you both can make more memories together!
I missed the fact this is your second goose friend, so any new friends will be auto foes for the next week <3
